First and foremost, the original is still better than this film but this film does take it to a darker place. Great film in my opinion but a bit to artsy and overly dramatic.

I was a bit hesitant about this one as I am a huge fan of the original. However this is more of an homage to the original rather than a remake so I was able to watch it and enjoy it in its own unique style. I think they did a fabulous job with this. Highly recommend it.

Not as good as the first, but still a creepy film...Not for everybody, but if you like indie, scary films, this is for you...

I went into this film not knowing anything, and it was totally worth it. Same director as Call Me By Your Name, so you know it is shot well. Full of some great actors, Dakota Johnson actually surprised me with how good she was. Go for it if this looks interesting.

What a stunning yet frightening remake! I was blown away by Suspiria. The acting is incredible and the cinematography is so beautiful. The film allows the characters to breathe and inhabit this very lived in space that was full of terror and intrigue. A must see!

Awesome movie for remake it’s respectful to the original by being a true great movie in it of its self. If you’ve seen the original you’ll love this one. A must own unique movie, great cinematography. The blu Ray quality is awesome clear images.

Takes the original film and turns it on its head. Does not reflect Argento by any means, but manages to craft a stellar horror film in its own right.

I still prefer the classic one better which I recommend, but this is still a great pick up if you can get your hands on a copy. If you like scary movies pick this up and don’t read anything about it, there’s always a spoiler on some articles.

The original film is one of my favorites of all time. I was hesitant about this remake... but it's insanely great, and a worthy re imagining.

I was excited to see this film after seeing the preview. Now I never have seen the original. This film was very different but in a good way. I did enjoy the film. Creepy and disturbing. I would recommend this film to any Horror fan.

My second favorite film of 2018. Absolutely loved everything about it. It's a slow burn, and it's runtime of 2 and a half hours might turn people off, but if you're in the mood for a dark, disturbing ride this is the perfect film for you.

Luca Gudagnino's "Suspiria" takes the basic premise of Dario Argento's iconic film and puts his own twist in it adding more of a story that Argento would cover in the later films and the overall result is a solid one. I'll admit that it's not a film for everyone and fans of the original may not dig the changes made but I consider it to be an interesting take on a cult horror classic and give around a 3.5 (a little above a 3) and give it a recommendation.

This was a weird, but interesting one. I'd never seen or knew anything about the original movie, but this one didn't disappoint. It wasn't very scary, but more unnerving. If that's your thing, then I definitely recommend it.

whenever a classic is remade there’s a lot of people criticizing it, but when there’s a different interpretation, it can become a new classic.

This is one of the most original movies ever made! Must see! Character names are the same, but the roles seemed switched around a little bit from the original. I was blown away! Though this movie is not for everyone! MUST SEE!!!

Don't go into this one expecting a carbon copy of the original, because that's not what it is by a long shot. What it IS, though, is a provocative and horrifyingly original film built on a familiar framework. Highly recommended.

I was suspicious when I first heard they were remaking/reimaging Dario Argento's Suspiria, I'm happy that I was wrong. It is a unique movie that is worth the time I spent in the theatre watching it when it came out.

Different in many ways from the original film from the late 1970's and just as horrifying, but in a different way from what I can remember of the original film. Now I'm gonna have to find and buy the original to compare.

I can’t figure out why this movie got some bad reviews when it was its own movie. It was fantastic and I’m glad I finally got to see it
