A speaker that does not leave anything on the table as far as design and sound. Just WOW! I had been wanting to upgrade my speaker for the last couple years and had done extensive research. I had spoken to several audiophiles about speakers and even went and listened to several of the competitors. I had debated between the B&W 606, Martin Logan Motion, Kef among a couple other. I have loved SVS as a subwoofer company for a while now and upon studying I found out that they've had an ultra line out for some time now. Tons of amazing things have been said about them in reviews and videos so I decided to give it a shot knowing if I did not like them I could return them. As soon as I plugged them in and made a few minor adjustments, I put on some music and had a smile that did not leave my face for some time. Tested with movies as well and it was tremendous, movie theater like. You could distinguish every piece of audio that was being thrown at you and where it was coming from. Its a shame there aren't many places you can hear these suckers but I promise you if you are considering higher end bookshelf speakers, these will leave you extremely satisfied in either a 5.1 or 2.1 system

After pulling the trigger on two SB-2000 subwoofers and being thoroughly impressed by how well I was treated by SVS during the buying process, I decided to go with a their Ultra Bookshelves for my main listening room. I am nothing short of blown away. After doing a bit of tweaking with positioning I can easily say that these are by far the best bookshelf speakers under $2000. SVS as a company will continue to have my recommendation for the forseeable future.
