    My son loves it, but not very sturdy!

    My son loves this and rides it daily. However after less than 2 months he got a significant crack in the plastic and the company said it’s not covered under the warranty. He was riding it up a curb and it hit the plastic wheel and cracked! We will eventually have to buy a new skin which is $80. Not happy after spending over $200.

    Was a Christmas present for a child. Stopped charging within the first week. Contacted Swagtron and they said it was an internal issue that required the hoverboard to be shipped to them at my expense under an RMA for them to repair. I returned it To Best Buy and ordered a different hoverboard. Seemed like a good board for the short amount of time it was used, but I was not going to keep something that stopped working that soon and required shipping back to the company to fix at my expense for shipping. I got the replacement warranty on the other board I ordered as a result of this experience.

    Purchased this item based on the consumer reviews. Highly disappointed. My son will be riding the device and all of a sudden the board shakes like it’s having a seizure. Contacted the customer service folks via email, who told me to recalibrate the board (didn’t help either), there is this form to fill out for you to return it to the manufacturer which I have not had time to do yet. Not sure whether I would have to pay for shipping, as I have not had time to investigate further.

    Stopped working (no charge) before the year was up and still dealing with the manufacturer as it's supposed to be under warranty

    Three weeks and I have had to return it for a new one. Something broke inside it and is rattling around. Best Buy was great in ordering me a new one. My kids are 13,11 and 8 and they were all able to use it with ease. Didn’t give it a higher star rating because for the price I expect better craftsmanship. But this is a good hover board for beginners. Stability control is a definite plus and works great.

    Was a lot of fun for my sisters but after 2 months of light use it just suddenly stopped working.

    My 9 year old excited Christmas morning rode it, and before the afternoon it needed recharging..... the charging outlet on it was broken...... now I have to send it back to best buy

    Bought 2 of these for my grandchildren. One went dead in less than a week with only mild use. Best Buy was great and made it right, no problem.

    I personaly diddnt like 8t because like 4 days after having it the Bluetooth attach meant quit working and so did the speakers

    Initially upon local purchase the unit squeaked in one wheel which we solved with a lubricant. Then an assembly screw fell out and we found another missing, which we had to replace. Then our son enjoyed the hover board for nearly a year, all indoor & “normal” non-abusive use (we never used the app-enabled Bluetooth software = meh!), then it simply quit. We didn't notify Swagtron until 14 days after the one year warranty for a number of reasons including that we didn’t realize a year had already passed, that it was the beginning of a new school year and had other priorities, and that we couldn't locate the manual or the receipt to make a warranty claim. So we emailed Swagtron who suggested that we try to recalibrate and reset it, so we downloaded the manual to find out how to do that. When that failed we asked to for an RMA. When I began to fill out the form it appeared that there would be no charge for shipping, then I tried again and could only accept the $20 fee for a pre-paid UPS label. Well, without thinking I clicked it believing that $20 shipping isn’t outrageous as long as the unit is repaired. Next Swagtron Customer Support emailed me that there would be a $59.99 Service Fee plus they would invoice me for the parts needed. Hmmm! I had already spent more than enough time trying to locate a box to ship it in - I finally found a single 36x8x8 for $5 and cut it down to fit - then spent more time packing it so it wouldn’t shift in the box, plus the $20 for the UPS label. Now Swagtron wanted me to pony up another $59.99 Service Fee and carte blanch on repair parts which they would warranty for only 30 days. Well, we’re now up to half the cost of a new hover board so thanks, but no thanks Swagtron. Apparently repeat business doesn’t fit Swagtron’s business model so we’ll shop Razor or another brand next time and see how they do. Here’s their final reply to me: Hello, I apologize but we have third parties that handle extended warranties after the purchase of the unit. We do not offer extended warranties directly from swagtron at this time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We do however warranty our repairs for 30 days after the repair. I hope this helps. Regards, Swagtron Customer Support BTW, I never requested an “extended” warranty from Swagtron, only that they honor their initial 1 year warranty.
