    When I bought a security system, 4/ 60" cables were included but one did not reach around my house so I had to purchase an extra connection cable.

    I was able to use this extension cable and place my DVR unit in a more hidden place. Theoretically, it is an "extension cable", but I used it as cable to hook up the camera... so I only ran 100'... this allows you to reach out at least 160'... thats pretty good considering I have had wireless systems that can't reach that far and be stable...

    When I purchased my Swann camera system I also bought this seperate extension cable. Sure enough I needed this cable coming up short because of obstacles in my attic. After a hot afternoon, I remembered having the extra cord. Works Great with the rest of Swann products.

    I installed cameras at work so my Boss can have a more piece of mind at home seeing everything is ok. However, I had to install over a entire plaza and the 60ft cables weren't going to cut it. So I bought 10 of these babies and did the job. The length doesn't compromise quality and there are no delays on the feed.

    dont be fooled. swann is a great product. had ordered an extra camera in store which arrived days earlier than expected, great, and unknown to me had everything in box that was needed. no need for these extra cables. exact same product that is included in box. lol
