My main complaint is that the online manual is for a PREVIOUS version of the system. You'd think they could spend an afternoon and update the manual. As it is, it's very difficult to understand the workings of the system when the manual just makes things more confusing. The hardware itself is fine. After you figure out how things work, you can link thru the internet and your wifi. It can be fine tuned for motion sensitivity and send alerts to your phone. Or you can see live views on your phone. You will need to connect to a TV for the setup, even if you will normally be viewing on your phone. I still don't have my system fine tuned adequately, but I think I'll be able to sort out the bugs. Overall, it's a pretty versatile system.

This was definitely a great buy. The cameras were easy to connect. Most importantly, connecting to the network was just “ plug and play”. The quality is also better than expected. I would definitely recommend this kit.

Very easy to install. ITB is plenty of storage for basic day to day. Cameras are excellent quality. Definitely recommend. It’s not optimal to try to save money in this arena of products. You’re compromising a lot to save a little. This is worth it. And Swann is a good company

Purchased this system to replace an older 8 camera version that stopped working. The cameras that come with this system are lighter, have better quality images, and extra features with the built-in spotlight capability. This is a great security camera system for the price.

I installed this set of Cameras for a client of mine looking to upgrade from his Current wireless arlo system. Though those work great, they run via wireless which set limits to how far they can be installed, as well as the fact that they require a decent amount of bandwidth. Ontop of that those cameras have to be charged every now and then... the cameras from Swann that I installed are powered directly and are not POE like most security cameras which would draw power from the Ethernet cables. On top of that there is a decent amount of wire for every camera roughly 60 ft the boxes are in order and come in a set easy to put together and really requires no instruction.... but then again I’m also a cybersecurity expert so you may want to read the instructions...

I purchased this cameras for household use. I am very happy with the quality of the image during daylight however, the night vision is not so good. If the camera is too close to the wall or any object it will cause the light to reflect on the image causinga glare that impedes the clear view. Also if you zoom in with the night vision it will be a little blurry and hard to identify somone even in cllse proximity. Installation and set up was a breeze.

Great system. Easy to use and setup. Has good picture quality and easy to store video you want. Night vision is good and has goid range. Highly recommend.

The most important thing to me was getting it set up on my phone easily. This took me about two minutes. Super easy. The app is okay. Some glitches but it’s better than no phone viewing.

Camera quality is very good. Mobile app is easy to use. DVR works well and provides very good quality tv picture. Overall this is a good system at a competitive price.

Swann Security system is totally worth it! This is my 2nd set of cameras in 4yrs! The 1st set still works and can be connected with the DVR that came with these as well. They are totally clear and very easy to use. I prefer wired cameras because wireless internet can always drop signal for a few or service providers might have issues! I recommend Swann 100%! These newer ones have motion sensors as well and that’s a extra added bonus for me! I also recommend getting Bestbuy warranty... if something happens they will replace the entire set!

I have used several brands of security cameras for work and home use. This was very easy to setup, and scanning a QR code makes networking a breeze to pull up the cameras on an Apple or Android smartphone on the company's App. The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because it doesn't have support through a web browser from a computer. You can if you use the Swann App available for PC and MAC, but not from a web browser.

I finally got them to work to an acceptable level. I guess they want me to use their Tech Support. Anyway, they provide a clear image and by the way, at night when the light comes on, you will see the image in color. The 90 degree angle is useful. I had to cover all exposed outdoor wiring with plastic shielding (outdoor?) I wouldn't recommend it to a friend because there are better out-of-the-box systems out there.

They do exactly what they advertise. Night vision looks good. The spot light is kind of useless unless you want to get someone's attention.

I've had the system up and running for 3 weeks now and have had not 1 issue with it. With a little preplanning for the placement of it's various parts the system is pretty much "plug and play". Studying the manual and learning the different settings has taken some time given this is my first go round with a security setup. Only drawback is the 1 tb hard drive. It is easily upgradeable though and it only took me 20 mins to put a 4tb hdd in. The single swivel point is a nuisance also. I wound up mounting all of the cameras on small plywood squares to achieve the right angles with little handling of the cameras themselves.

Good picture quality works well. Does what it needs to do. Good price as well.

I replaced my old system with this system. Picture quality is excellent. The system was easy to install and set up.

The Swan home security system was very easy to install and very user friendly. Had one issue with the app and called customer service and told me to download another app and now I can view the cameras from my phone at anytime.

Got this on sale and for the price it's hard to beat. Upgraded from a 4 camera system to a 10 with 1089p. The built in light doesn't do much good outside at night, but the infrared gives a nice picture. Cant really think of anything negative to say about it.

Very easy to install and set up. Decent video quality and excellent product for the price. I wish the camera mounts were metal instead of plastic and the camera viewing angles could be a little wider.
