I loved this camera, it was easy to set up and the range is good, it starts recording immediately once it sense movement and the picture quality is great.

I'm out of warranty, cameras were fine, your force to migrate to the new app, 2 out of my 4 cameras crashed , basically I have 2 dummy cameras left. They agree with me 100% but can't replace my cameras. Even tho they know theirs issues with the update on firmware and the app itself.

These cameras were a 5 star rating before April 12th, 2019. On that date the manufacturer (Swann) released an IOS version update to the required Safe by Swann app (version 1.6.5). This update was extremely flawed and resulted in the loss of the ability for at least some camera owners to disarm the cameras or adjust the sensitivity of the cameras thru the required app. The only way I can disarm my cameras after I downloaded version 1.6.5 is to disconnect the camera from a power source. Before you purchase one of these cameras you should do some research. I suggest you visit Swann's own community message boards or check out the Safe by Swann app reviews that were posted after April 12th, 2019. It has been 10 days since the flawed app version was released and there still has not been a fix from the manufacturer. Obviously they released the update without adequate testing. Is this the kind of company that you want providing security for your home/business?

I have had these cameras for a couple months now and have had nothing but issues with them. COUNTLESS hours on the phone with "level 2" support and countless hours of getting the runaround. Try this try that is all I'm getting. 1. Cameras are constantly going offline. I have 100% wifi signal to EVERY camera. 2. Almost impossible to ever get a "live view" 3. The Swann app is worthless. I have to always force stop it and restart it to HOPEFULLY see anything. I was even told by one of Swanns techs that the wireless radios in the cameras aren't the best but yet they WON'T do anything about it. Their other excuse is that their servers are having issues. And why is this my problem? I purchased security cameras for a reason. I could have saved alot of money and bought some "dummy" cameras and stuck them up. These are about the get boxed up and taken back to Best Buy. I spent alot of money on the cameras,more money on having electrical ran. What a WASTE. Save yourself from all the headaches and go with another brand. Lesson learned here. Swann is NOT there when you need them. They do EVERYTHING to try to get out of honoring their warranty.
These cameras work fine. You need good internet. Hook 2 of them up to your main WiFi address and the other 2 to your 2ghz WiFi address and they work fine.
