The documentation that came with the product was a little hard to understand but after calling technical support they were very helpful and had me up and running in no time, Great product plan to add more cameras.

We bought this system for keeping a eye on our new dogs while we were at work. They have been very destructive puppies so we needed a way to tell who was causing all the problems. Since I have added 2 more ZOSI 800tvl cameras as well as CCTV mics on all the cameras so we get sound as well. I'll admit this is my first security system and after the initial setup the software to me looked very dated and was a little cumbersome to navigate. But now after a few months with the system I have found that the software is very adequate and provides you with every feature you could possibly want, it just takes a while to figure out everything. Overall I'd give the software a 9 out of 10 for ease of use. There is a learning curve but it functions very well after you get it. Also the phone and tablet app work fantastic. I use them like crazy and have never had the system hang once. It's always worked perfectly and very well to boot. Our home internet is only a 1mb upload and usually I get a perfect signal on all 4 cameras. Every now and then my bandwidth is not sufficient and it drops one of the cameras to meet the demand but it's pretty rare. The PC program works very good as well and I can access them at work whenever I need to on my pc. For us the system has worked perfectly we've now isolated the trouble maker and work extra with him. Plus it's fun to take a break to see what they are up too. In the future I would not hesitate to buy another system from swann. The camera quality is just ok. It's about dvd quality but probably not as good. The night vision is very good on the bundled cameras. My ZOSI cameras have about a equal quality but not quite as good night vision, they also take longer to switch from night vision to color. But overall for a 3rd of the price they do the job equally as well. The CCTV mic's I got work really good but get a little interference. But it's nice to have sound.

I was liking the cameras (2) but within a few weeks one went bad already. I called the company and they said they would send me a new one but it is still a big deal since the camera is at such a high level that I cannot reach it myself.
