I wear a suit every day for work. The Swash does a great job of keeping them fresh in between dry cleaning.

Been looking at this for a long time. Pulled the trigger when the price came down. Love it. Often use it to refresh a suit and basically when the garment just had wrinkles rather than dry cleaning. Jeans, golf shirts , blazers. Yeah this is pretty cool !

The machine works great for wrinkles. Some fabrics are better than others, but using the 15 minute setting for thicker fabrics still removed the wrinkles. I have no regrets purchasing this item.

    Better Than I Was Expecting

Like many people facing a $500 purchase, I was skeptical. If the machine wasn't going to save me time and money, then the purchase wasn't justified. After finding a coupon that gave me a bit of a discount, I decided to take the plunge. Here are my findings: The machine itself is fairly easy to squeeze into a small space, though it is fairly heavy and not easy to move by yourself. Personally I kept it away from the wall so I could easily get to both sides of my garment. To test the machine I used three different garments. For my first test I chose a thin, lightly wrinkled marino wool sweater that I've been meaning to have cleaned due to the smell. I wore it over to a friend's house and they were using their new deep fryer. Needless to say I came home smelling like a greasy diner. The process of loading the sweater into the machine is a little confusing at first. Knowing which tension hooks go where is a huge part of making sure it comes out wrinkle-free. After getting it the way I thought it should go, I loaded in the pod and set the thing. The operation is a little loud at first, but that's just to spray on the liquid. The rest of the time is fairly quiet. The sweater came out in good shape, smooth and smelling nice. I did notice a few damp patches, and it felt a little filmy. It's a lot like when you use too many fabric softener. Not ideal, but hardly problematic. My second test was on a long sleeve cotton button down shirt I pulled out of my drawer. I don't wear it often, so it was especially wrinkled. For this garment I decided to forgo the pod entirely and simply mist the shirt with water. I wasn't concerned about the smell so much as I was about the wrinkles. I was especially careful to attach the tension hooks in what I felt was the most effective configuration. Due to the shirt's excessive wrinkles I decided to go for the 15 minute cycle. None of my regular shirts would ever get this wrinkled, so I figured it was a good test. The results were very good. The vast majority of the wrinkles had been eliminated, and only a few of the more stubborn ones remained. The sleeves seem particularly difficult to stretch properly. While this machine will never provide you the pressed look an iron will achieve, it certainly works if absolute perfection is not your goal. My last test was a pair of slacks I wear to work. I found hanging the pants the most challenging part, but eventually got the hang of it. Like the shirt I made sure to spend my time learning how to properly set the tension hooks and gave it a quick spray with the water bottle. After 10 minutes they looked as good as they did coming out of the dryer! So in summary, I found this gizmo to work as advertised, though I was a little disappointed in the swash pod formula. I don't enjoy scents, so I disliked the fact that their 'sensitive' formula was still scented, but it wasn't overwhelming the way the normal pods are. I imagine most people find the fragrance appealing, so it was only a drawback because of my personal preference. However, using the water bottle solved that problem AND saved me from having to use a pod for every item! Certainly a bonus there, especially if all you're trying to do is de-wrinkle an already clean garment. For items that are starting to smell I can see where the pods would come into play. For garments that are heavily soiled (food/beverage spillage etc) I'd still have the item professionally cleaned. Now my morning routine includes loading my shirt/pants into my SWASH machine before I get in the shower, and by the time I'm done so are they! If I'm wearing a jacket as well, I throw that in while I'm making breakfast. All in all it fits well with my routine, does a decent job, isn't an eye sore and saves me trips to the cleaners!

I fond this product on internet and was thinking this is a great addition to my washer and dryer because I can clean some of my clothes which are very delegate and washer may destroy them. So I order it online from BestBuy. In 4 days product was delivered to my house. I opened a package and found that front panel of a unit was damaged. So I called customer support for replacement. BestBuy customer support promised me that first unit will be picked up during second unit delivered. Replacement unit came in several days, and UPS refused to picked up first one because they don't have a return labels. The second unit - package was even more bitten up, and after package removal reviled damaged unit. The from panel was damaged, the back panel was damaged. So next call to customer support gave me no chance to replace it because I already replace ones. So I have to broken units seating in my house. I was recommended that I need to come to local BestBuy store and take a new unit. Also I was told that UPS will pick up damaged units. Well, I went to local BestBuy to get a new unit. local store was not able to give a new unit, but they were able to purchase it online and give me the same price when I bought it before. The third unit - came in very well packaged in two boxes. So I carefully removed all the boxes and found that unit front panel was cracked. But it was not very bad, so I decided to try it and found that unit is not working!!! The fan was blowing but pump which is getting cleaning solution was not pumping and not spraying anything. So I had to get that unit which is 81pounds weight and bring it back to local store, store accepted it back. I asked them if I can return the other units, they said yes, and after I brought second one in store they said oops, we can't because it is a replacement unit and you need to send it back. So I have to get that package back to my house, and call customer support asking what is going on, why I have to care that broken unit back and forth? They said we will send you a return labels. Why they didn't do it before??? Several day later UPS guy appeared at my house and took only ONE item!!! On my question why one, he replied that he has only one return label. So after 4 weeks of communication with BestBuy customer support I have return labels for the first broken unit. So to make this story short - 3 units were delivered - 0 units were working! Very bad packaging, units brake during delivery or packaging.

The Swash is good for freshening clothing to reduce the trips to the dry cleaner. It takes a bit of experimenting to hang the items so that they don't wrinkle.

I bought this because I was tired of having to go to the dry cleaners every couple days for a touch up costing me about $100 a month. Will easily pay this off in 4 months using it when ever I want. Great product if you are a frequent user.

Got this product and it is a great thing to have to press those clothes out but the noise output is shocking at the top of the cycle. Sound like an electrical noise but in actuality it is pulling the liquid from the pod into the machine.

Too bad they discontinued this product. We really liked it. The clothes’ wrinkles are steamed out and have fresh smell afterwards. Takes about 15 minutes for the whole process. If they haven’t stop production on this I would’ve bought another one for my laundry room.
