Excellent Scooter I have rode many gas mopeds before and they are always a ton of fun. Currently there are not many electric mopeds on the market but the idea is exciting. I believe electric vehicles are the future but one of the biggest downfalls currently is long charge times and low range. The SWFT Maxx moped hopes to bring the same great experience of gas moped in electric form with even more fun to offer.

I like everything about this scooter but the short life of the battery. I charged it over 15 hours, took it out to pick up mails for less than 2 block, the third time the battery dropped to 1 bar, and I need to recharge again? Also I wished I waited a month, the price dropped $300!

I love this little moped (lawfully a bicycle in my city). It's stylish, nimble and joyful to ride. My complaints are that it does not reach a real life range of 38 miles to the charge. As well, performance suffers when you reach less than half-battery and does not accelerate beyond 15 mph. Then, continues to decline in performance as you reach quarter-battery; reaching a max speed of 5 mph. Lastly, SWFT customer service is quite frustrating and poor. I've been trying to get them to replace my battery for 3 weeks at this point. My issue remains unresolved and SFWT has seemingly "ghosted" my email communications. Best Buy, will you put the hammer down and tell SWFT to treat your customers better than this?

I am enjoying this scooter.. its effecient, veey easy to assemble. It literally does what it says. It does not require a driver's license or insurance so very good if needing to find alternatives to driving. My only 2 complaints are not enough storage space and battery life. Needs to be charged every other day for full battery life.

Non-removeable battery cannot be replaced, SO WHEN THE BATTERY DIES, SO DOES YOUR E-MOPED! Manual says to charge fully before using. Comes only partially charged(?). Ours came fully charged. The green bars on the vehicle’s dash displayed a full charge. Very strange! Did we get a used unit? Upon subsequent charges, charger never displays “green” light (charging complete) as it is always red (indicates “charging”). Therefore, you never know if the battery is fully charged or not. CONCERN is that they specifically warn against over-charging. However, you don’t know if you are over-charging the unit because the red (charging) light never turns “green”. Over-charging can "shorten the life" of the E-Moped battery and the E-Moped itself! Customer service was highly responsive and helpful. They sent me a replacement charger. This one also remains “red” during the suggested 10-hour charging time. Dash does though, show full charge on the battery indicator. Was the battery COMPROMISED before we got it. Perhaps that is why the charger never indicates when it is fully charged (green light). My wife really enjoys the E-Moped. She has been getting about 27 miles per 10-hour charge. We are satisfied with that, but remain concerned regarding the life of the battery / E-Moped. The Manufacturer needs to come up with an improved style of replaceable battery for these units. I would rate a “5” if a) we hadn't experienced these issues and b) we were more comfortable with the anticipated battery / E-Moped’s life expectancy.

Bought this item in November 2022 and it’s now useless it won’t run anymore .

I am in my 60’s and i live riding my moped to work because it is very hard to find a parking spot. Bonus is i dont have to spend $6.00 a gallon on gas. You would not be disappointed with this purchase. Buy it now. Great Christmas present.

It is a Smooth ride, comfortable and a cool easy way to navigate. Great alternative to a traditional e bike.

Nice scooter but not enough power going up the hll

Under a year old and no longer works. The batteries are dead.

I purchased this eMoped as a Christmas gift for my son who rarely rode it. After 6 months the electric motor when bad. After much back and forth, even though the eMoped was still under warranty, SWFT sent me a new electric motor and expected me to replace it without any instruction (video or written). I attempted but quickly realized I was overwhelmed. They refused to help me any further. Complete waste of my money.

Vehicle was great for the first nine months, the whole family loved getting around town on it. The security and convince features work well. But having an issue with the ECU now and have to figure out how to get it fixed. For as much as I paid, would want better.

Easy to ride, has plenty of power, nice review mirrors and it has a great long battery.

My SWFT MAXX eMoped the signal light is not working. The police has giving me violation, the signal light at backside is not working. Please help me to rectify.
