Customer Ratings & Reviews

I bought this same bag about 8 years ago. I’ve have tools in it while flying to multiple states while it upheld its quality. Ive put my bag through the ringers. The durability is top. It also has many useful pockets.Only complaint is the old style USB. Mine was stolen so I bought another one of these. I bought it again because I know the quality will not fail me Overall, 10/10.

This backpack is spacious and has a good amount of compartments. The USB extension is useful if you have a powerbank you want to maintain inside of it. It also has a hard compartment that can be utilized for sunglasses and prevent them from being damaged. Very good acquisition.

This is a great backpack to carry books and your laptop and to travel

Love it! Plenty of pockets! Durable for clumsy people.

Honda a ton of my junk. Love the comfortable feel and all the compartments.

This backpack is very durable. Has plenty of different compartments that are very organized and even labeled. I use this for travel and every day use. You can attach a power brick to it to charge devices. Zippers are smooth. I honestly don't have any complaints about this backpack. Would highly recommend

Excellent backpack for daily use. I’m a mail carrier and I use this to carry all my supplies: sunglasses, medical supplies, charging cords, towels, pens, paper, etc. and whatever else I might need out in my truck for the day and this is my second one. The first one lasted about four years on a daily use in my mail truck being thrown around. A lot of compartments! I use this when I travel as well. I also got this on sale $60 off as being a total tech member!

I'm extremely happy with the SwissGear Commander USB ScanSmart Laptop Backpack. The build quality feels premium, and the backpack is very sturdy and comfortable to carry, even when fully loaded. The ScanSmart design makes airport security checks much more convenient, and the multiple compartments help keep everything organized. The USB charging port is a great added feature for staying connected while on the go. Overall, it's a stylish, functional, and reliable backpack that offers excellent value for the price.

This SwissGear backpack is compact on the outside yet surprisingly spacious inside. It’s comfortable to wear and offers excellent value for the price. Free shipping to boot.

down the best one I’ve owned. If you travel often or carry a lot of tech, this thing is a beast in the best way. The ScanSmart design is clutch at the airport—you just unzip the middle and lay it flat on the TSA belt without taking out your laptop. Total lifesaver when you’re in a rush. The built-in USB port is also super convenient. I keep a power bank inside and can charge my phone right from the outside. It’s roomy without looking like you’re hiking Everest. There’s space for a laptop, tablet, charger, notebook, and even a change of clothes or gym shoes. I really like how there’s a place for everything—no more digging around to find stuff. Comfort-wise, it’s solid. The straps are padded and the back has good airflow. I’ve worn it on long commutes and it’s never felt heavy or uncomfortable. Only minor gripe: the water bottle pocket could be a little more snug. But that’s being picky. Bottom line: If you’re an iPhone/Mac user who loves staying charged and organized on the go, this backpack is worth every penny. Would definitely buy again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best backpack ever! Very elegant design and I carry it to work everyday. Very strong and has limitless storage. Everyone admires it. Will surely recommend.

This smart backpack combines ample storage, innovative features, and durable design, making it perfect for tech-savvy commuters and travelers.

This bag looks great and the comfort is exceptional. From the sleek look to the sturdy build this has been an overall great purchase. There are plenty of pockets and it even comes with a charging cable so you can place a battery inside the bag and charge your phone up while you walk around. Pretty convenient and a great looking bag. Also very comfortable style.

Purchased this on sale. Super good laptop bag. This laptop features an enhanced laptop compartment with zippered access for a 17-inch laptop and a padded tablet pocket. Super good organization with a main computer compartment and an accordion file holder and a RFID-protected organizer compartment with a removable key/fob clip and multiple divider pockets. The pack is well constructed with multiple Pockets.

SwissGear has always been a reliable brand. Our oldest sone has had a SG backback since high school and he's now a graduating senior from college! Not surprisingly, when his younger brother was off to college this fall, he recommended a SG backpack. Our second kiddo is now using the Commander every day at college. It's sleek looking sturdy and has great features, including many pockets. Highly recommend!

It is roomy for all the things needed. I will use it on campus for my computer, also bought at Best Buy, other school needs, water bottle, charger and pickle ball items.

[Employee of bestbuy] Durable, convenient, good feel to the bag, holds laptop, neck pillow, 40oz water bottle, etc

The awesome thing about it , it has an outlet where you can charge your phone ! A+ and it has all these composites you can store nearly anything in them ! I mean what else can you ask for ! And the material is really durable! If you can get at a discount price like i did . Jump on it !

This is my 2nd purchase of this backpack. First one in 2023. Used it everyday for work and for every travel/trip. Had to replace due to a zipper issue - totally understandable. They made some changes from the previous version but in a good way. Love it and love it in ALL black this time. Couldn't beat the price either - half of what I originally paid 3 years ago.
