I had a few criteria when looking for a new backpack. 1) Protect laptop 2) Durability 3) Comfort. So far this backpack has met all the criteria; Plenty of padding surrounding laptop compartment, also in other compartments that I wasn't expecting...bonus! Material and stitching are of good quality and should result in a long service life. The cushion, around shoulder strap and back is very comfortable. Highly recommend this backpack.

Replaced a laptop bag with this to use for personal and business travel. It holds everything I needed including a MacBook Pro 16”, iPad with Magic Keyboard, and has room for a lot more. While it got heavy with all the stuff it contained, it was easy to carry with all the padding added to the back of it. Plus it held well on the carry-on’s handle bars for rolling.

I absolutely love this bag! I bought the same exact one several years ago for another laptop, and had always been amazed at how many divided sections inside the bag there were, each with ample space, plus plenty of pockets on the outside. It's also survived with hardly any wear and tear on it, so it's made very well. I can't believe how much stuff I can easily put into the bag . . . it reminds me of the Harry Potter book/movie when the characters go to some festival and set up a tent, and from the outside it looks like a small 2-man tent, but when you step into the tent it opens up into a cavernous mansion . . . that's what this bag is like - it just amazes you with how much space is inside of it. So, I was absolutely thrilled when I bought a new laptop and had to get a bag for it, and I discovered this bag is still being sold - I snatched it up without any hesitation.

This is by far the most incredible backpack ever! Im a nursing student, so my backpacks are always loaded down; the extra cushion on it saves my back, and makes carrying everything so much easier. There are pockets for everything and not a single inch of space in this bag goes unused, not to mention how well-built and strong it is. I definitely reccommend this backpack! Worth every cent!

The quality of the is simply superb. Teens are so careless that they abuse their bags a lot, I tried with many other brands and none is holding up like the Swiss. Very strudy, spacious, tons of pockets and good padsing for laptop and shoulder straps, you can't beat this.

I bought this backpack to replace another SwissGear backpack that was getting a little long in the tooth. Spent more than I would have at Sam's but I think that this one is a bit more functional and of better quality (looks cooler, too). Very light. There are tons of compartments to store stuff and forget where you put thing when you need something ;) Easily handles two laptops (Lenovo 15" and MacBook 13") and my iPad Pro. Comfortable (although it's not like I'm hiking with it). Quality appears to be very good. Overall, I am very please with it.

When my trusty Jansport of more than 16 years developed a rip, it was time to upgrade to something more modern, sturdy, and not too bulky. This fits the bill for the first two, and almost for the last. It has tons of pockets, great protection for your laptop, tablet, etc. Watter bottle holders on both sides, and enough reinforcement on all the joints and seams. I've carried this on domestic and international plane rides, and take it to work every day with a laptop, and a couple of binders inside. What more not to like?

This great back pack will carry our new computer its cords plus room for 2 Kindles when travelling.

This bag has so many compartments and is very lightweight. I managed to consolidate 2 work bags into this one. It’s great and very comfortable to carry

This is a great backpack. At first I thought it was a little too big, but I quickly got used to it. The multitude of pockets are excellent for organizing the load of stuff I carry with me every day to school. It's durable. The zippers feel like they are much higher quality than a typical backpack. The material inside the pockets is smooth, and doesn't scratch electronics. The laptop pocket is excellent as well. The pad is soft and smooth, and doesn't extend to the bottom of the bag, preventing damage to my laptop if I drop it. Overall a great buy.

Durable, well padded, and with multiple pockets, this is the best computer bag ever. I feel like my computer and the items I use with it are safe and secure. There is plenty of room in this bag for other things as well and also the padding the bag has for the back makes this hands down the most comfortable backpack I've ever worn. I can easily wear it while walking around all day without worry or pain.

My old bag (not the same brand) was finally giving up as I was preparing for work travel. The SwissGear Synergy has been an excellent replacement, traveling cross country stuffed here and there. It kept my gear dry in some wet and safe everywhere. It's comfortable, even when I had too much stuffed into it. And, it fit under the seat on the plane with ease. Definite good purchase and an excellent value for the price.

This is the second one of these that I have bought. The first one lasted about 10 years of daily use during the school year. As a teacher, I tend to pack a ton of papers for grading at home, especially on Fridays. I love the slot for the laptop and the second one for a tablet. It has plenty of pockets to keep everything well organized.

I'm loving the capacity and overall strength of this backpack so far. My work requires me to constantly be traveling from one place to the next, thus I've had to set up a "mobile office." This backpack accommodates so well with its many pockets, sleeves, and compartments. I carry a lot and it has been holding up quite well. It has definitely felt worth the price.

Bought to use to bring my laptop and needed work item to the office on in office days and then to bring stuff home on telework days. It holds things nicely and has enough compartments to protect and carry things. Much easier then my prior shoulder bag. Used on a trip across the country for a week. Held my key things and made getting through the airport fast then with my old small roller bag.

I was looking for a backpack that could carry (up to) a 16" laptop, tablet, and my (clean) gym clothes. This backpack has more than enough room to handle everything that I bring with me to work. The backpack itself has shock absorbing material, so you can rest assured that your laptop and tablet will be safe from being in there. I love the fact that this backpack also stands on its own, which makes loading it up easy since you don't have to worry about it falling down. There are plenty of pockets on this thing and I don't even know if I will use every single one at the same time. Some highlighted features include a pocket dedicated for sunglasses (which is lined with I believe microfiber), dedicated tablet pocket, and a quick access pocket at the top. There are also two water bottle holders on each side, in case you carry more than one with you. The shoulder straps are comfortable and the back allows air flow to let you "breathe" when wearing it. There is also a heavy duty handle to carry it and another handle designed for attaching it to your wheeled luggage. Overall I am very pleased with this backpack. It does everything I need it to and when I need to load it up I know I'll have a good reliable backpack. Swiss Gear makes very reliable items and this isn't the first thing I own of theirs. I can't recommend it enough.

Best pack I have ever owned. Holds my laptop securely. LOTS of space and compartments. Had my last one for 22 years and I travel a lot via bike, plane and on foot. Never let me down and fits good, too.

I must admit this is the best backpack I've had so far, even beating my last beloved Targus one. Ample space, nice padding, sturdy, high quality are among a few of the positive aspects. I use it everyday to carry my Surface Book and other laptops and some books to work. I must admit that sometimes I am a little lenient in the reviews, but this one needs to have a 5 rating. I'm very happy with the purchase.

This bag is actually a 2.0 edition. It has an insane amount of room, protects everything you could put in it and is appropriately priced. The first edition was a great bag as well but was missing small things like padding on the floor of the bag, all this has been corrected in the 2.0 edition. This bag has been extremely durable, my only wish is that it came in other colors as I have grown tired of the same backpack. Though, I would never abandon this bag! Perfecto!
