This is my second Swiss Gear backpack. The first one lasted over ten years and made many trips all over the world. This new backpack is made with the same rugged materials, and I like the shape nad layout even better than the old one. There are lots of storage areas, and computers are kept very safe. You could not ask for a better pack for the price.

I've only had this for a few months but I can tell it will hold up for a long time. It easliy holds a iPad, Thinkpad, chargers, miscellaneous cables, pens, business cards and much more. I can actually fit 2 laptops in this case without much trouble. The straps and nicely padded and distribute the weight well.

The backpack is designed to hold a good amount of books, perfect for the graduate student. There are several smaller pockets for organizing pens, planners, tech. There is also a pocket for lunch...but is a bit on the small side (I carry my lunch in a separate cooler bag)

Pros: Feels great on the back, distributes weight and is padded well. Lots of pockets to keep everything organized. Excellent laptop pocket. Cons: With a laptop, a textbook, and a couple notebooks (the paper kind), it becomes difficult to access most pockets because it doesn't expand much at all. This is Still the best backpack I've ever owned.

I bought this backpack for a work trip to hold my clothing and computer, iPad and external keyboard. It was roomy and worked perfectly! It was full and fit perfectly under the seat on the plane. No checking bags at the airport!

So many sections to keep everything you need for a short 2 day business trip. it has separate section for laptop / ipad and a bigger section where you can also keep a pair of clothes. Several small pockets in front and side for water bottle, and small accessories like keys / airpods / watch / wallet etc. I am super happy with the bag. the stitching is pretty strong well.

Protects your laptop well. Has lots of pockets for your accessories. Get a distinct bag tag as you will see many other travelers with this bag. Nice front zipper pocket to hold passport and other travel documents securely. This was a replacement for same bag I finally retired after about 10 years of use.

His backpack has it all! Tons of space, many different ways to secure your laptop or anything you're going to carry in it. Lots of padding highly recommend to anyone that's on the go and need storage and protections for their laptop and peripherals.

I recently purchased a laptop and I wanted to purchase a backpack that will protect it whenever I want to bring it somewhere. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but it's definitely worth the investment because it's protecting my laptop. Comfortable to walk with and has so many different compartments. Overall, quality backpack.

This is my second Swiss Gear pack in 5 yrs. 1st bag is still good but a little worn and wanted to upgrade. The Synergy improved upon it's sturdiness and functionality. Great bag for everyday use yet large enough to meet the needs for travel as well. There are plenty of pockets and sleeves throughout to keep things organized and you prepared for any endeavor not requiring a suitcase. I highly recommend. There are cheaper packs but none that match this one in quality. Versatile enough to be used for work, school, day pack, light camping and carry on for plane trips. So many pockets and sleeves it'll keep the TSA inspectors challenged at the airport foIr sure.

I purchased this backpack to replace my worn out Swiss Gear back pack. This time, I was looking for a bag that was good enough for a 15" laptop (my old one was a 17") and that allowed for a greater selection of bags. I looked at a few, but most others lacked the padded protection at the bottom that I really needed to have. My laptop screen is glass and I didn't want that to get cracked. Besides the great protection this bag affords, I was also satisfied with how the weight is carried when worn. The bag is comfortable and it hardly feels like I have anything on my back...which is due to the shock absorbing tech that the bag employs in the shoulder straps. There are plenty of zipped storage compartments with smaller storage areas inside for organizing peripherals/office supplies, etc. I'm very happy with the quality of build and design, it's very useful and I would highly recommend!!

This is a great quality laptop bag. It holds my laptop mouse earphones and all the cables and connectors necessary to use my laptop. The extra padding and pockets that keep everything safe are awesome!

I had no doubt I should get a Swiss Gear from previous shopping experience. The Swiss Gear backpack is a bit more expensive than others on the market but it does pay off. So, price is not really the issue here. This backpack has got plenty of room to store all kinds of stationary and folders. And the durability is amazing.

I needed a backpack for work that is heavy duty and one where I wouldn’t have to worry about handles breaking from the weight I put in it. I was a little worried about the bag when I first got it cause it seemed kinda bulky but once I started using it for work I’m so glad I bought it. Best bag ever. Strong, lightweight and the cushion that allows air to get to my back is great. Definitely recommend this bag if you want something that is sturdy and lasts a long time.
