After 1 Month - Worth It!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One month review: I was thoroughly impressed when I got my hands on the Switch 2 on launch day! However, the new games truly convinced me to opt for the newer model. I’ve been a loyal Switch user since the original model in 2017, then transitioned to the OLED model in 2021, and now I’ve got the Switch 2. Of course, I’m delighted with its performance. While the battery life is slightly shorter due to the larger screen, it’s understandable. It’s definitely a bit heavier to carry around, but it’s still an absolute blast to play, especially with Mario Kart World and Cyberpunk 2077.

Never Felt Love Like This Before!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is such a HUGE upgrade from my Switch 1. I was holding out for a bundle or some cool design BUT I could hold out any longer! So happy with my purchase! This console is so beautiful, smooth gameplay, fast response time and so many fun games. I was worried all the money and time I put into my Switch 1 would be gone, but everything from my Switch 1 transfered over to my new Switch 2 in about 5 mins (including all saved data) so that was awesome! Couldn't recommend it more!

Playing with power
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now im playing with power! I have had every single nintendo console in my entire life so getting the switch 2 was a no brainer. This console is powerful with the convenience of being handheld. The quality of life improvements are great and noticeable. The magnetic joycons are chef kiss. Bigger screen, faster processing are also a major plus. All the negative trolls out there are just trolls who want to spread high misinformation. I absolutely recommend a switch 2.

Good graphics
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Larger, better graphics than the switch 1. I like the exclusive games. The battery life in handheld is pretty weak though.

WORTH IT!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LOVE IT!!! The screen size is great!! The graphics are super clear. When I play Fortnite it’s not super pixelated. I LOVE the stand and it doesn’t fall over like the old switch I used to have. It’s faster and I love that you can either charge from the top or bottom. Highly recommend getting the switch 2!

The switch 2 is here but here's a disclaimer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now there are some games that don't work on the switch 2 that work on the Switch 1. Nintendo is looking into it. Also, keep your switch 1 just in case and keep your joy con controllers as well. This console is a bigger, it makes some games perform better. It has better connection. It has better amibo support( you don't have to take the amibo out of the box) and it has a greater display. I would say bye, if you want better performing games. But the games will be a little bit more expensive for that high performance. Look on nintendo's page to see which games do not work. I cannot see the nintendo switch 2 being a necessity, this time, but at the time of this review, it's not even a year old.So we're just gonna have to wait and see.

Worth it for Pokemon Violet/Scarlet!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.much improved performance and visual quality over the Switch 1 or Switch OLED for Pokemon Violet/Scarlet. Higher res, no stuttering, more FPS, more pokemon spawns. This is the way the game was meant to be played! The only downside is the battery life seems to be shorter compared to the Switch OLED but I guess that's expected since the console is also much more powerful.

Pretty good but could be better.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo did a good job of making the switch much more powerful without changing too much when it comes to ergonomics and portability. The screen size is fantastic but the bezels and screen type could be improved upon. Theres a bit of wasted space around the screen itsself which makes it look less sleek. The screen couldve been an oled instead of giving us an lcd, which wouldve also improved upon battery life and given us deeper darker blacks and better contrast. The joycons are larger which make it much more usable for adults. Theyre using the same style analogs which means eventually theyll have an issue with stick drift. Nintendo shouldve changed to TMR or Hall effect analogs to avoid this issue completely. Overall the switch 2 is a must have. Eventually when improved upon it will be a 5/5 product.

Literal Game Changer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was on the fence and skeptical about the Switch 2 for a long time, but I decided to get one and I’m glad I did. I love handheld gaming, and I value the handheld mode they recently released for upgrading switch 1 games to run as if they are docked, as well as the bigger screen. It’s makes it a better after work device to get lost in for me. No regrets!

Switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my wife, she absolutely loves it. She’s played the original switch for years and now she can’t get off the new one. Screen with fps is insane for the size. Very good for its price. Handheld console at this point!

The first of the next-gen gaming consoles
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From the moment I took it out of the box, I was immediately impressed with the quality and feel of this system over its predecessor. The biggest single improvement is the Joy-Con 2. It’s much more comfortable, premium, and doesn’t look like a toy like the original. The screen is also massively better at full HD. Having owned the console for several months now, I would have liked to see free performance updates for tentpole Switch titles such as SUPER MARIO BROS. WONDER. WONDER runs at 720p in handheld mode and is borderline unplayable in its current state. I really hope there is a free patch to fix this, but I fear that better performance will be locked behind the paid update next year, as is the case with THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD, and its sequel, TEARS OF THE KINDGOM. In the later’s case, subscribers of the NSO + EXPANSION PACK can download the update for free. One might argue that it’s unfair to expect Nintendo to patch previous-gen titles for their new system, but I’m sure most would agree that Switch 2 owners would prefer not to carry around two devices, and given that Nintendo announced backwards compatibility as an incentive to upgrade, it would be courteous of them to patch classic Switch titles at a time when the Switch 2 is severely lacking in exclusive next-gen software. I have logged 80 hours and 60 hours into MARIO KART WORLD and DONKEY KONG BANANZA, respectively. For major first-party exclusive content for Switch 2, all we have for the remainder of 2024 is KIRBY AIR RIDERS and HYRULE WARRIORS: AGE OF IMPRISONMENT. I mostly play in docked mode, and lately if I play my Switch 2 at all, it is for SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE, and SPLATOON 3. I will credit Nintendo for improving on SPLATOON 3 and SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY performance very quickly and without charge. For all its faults, the Nintendo Switch 2 is an excellent successor to the original Nintendo Switch in its hardware capabilities. I strongly feel that it will become a worthy successor once it has had time to grow its exclusive library. In the meantime, I would advise reluctant shoppers to wait. Titles such as METROID PRIME 4: BEYOND and POKÉMON LEGENDS: Z-A will have Switch 2 patches available for the original Switch versions, so there’s no rush for consumers interested in those titles specifically.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch 2 is phenomenal. It has everything amazing about the switch 1 but just improved. Switch But Better
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No surprises here; Switch 2 is the one to get for all your Nintendo needs. And while I've only played the Zelda games on it so far, it has already proven itself for me in how well they run compared to the original Switch. The games in general are smaller, so the storage included is plenty. Only issue for me is that the left joycon's ZL button took too much pressure to activate, but Nintendo is repairing that for free. Also, the Switch 2 can use Switch 1 controllers, so I'm not missing anything in the meanwhile. Not much else to say; it's great and I bought it for Duskbloods so that needs to hurry up and release!

Birthday Gift
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a birthday gift for my 6 year old grandson. The screen is large enough for him. He loves it, able to watch YouTube and ply his games. Not sure of the battery life he keeps it plugged up. Only thing missing is RolBlox.
