There is exactly one system on the market that plays to the crowd regardless of their age; and it is the Nintendo Switch. I have been a diehard Playstation gamer for years and years. This game has taken me away from the Call of Duty descent into tragedy and the Resident Evil choppy waters and placed me directly into my 12 year old self's happy place. Is it the very best and most "Xtreme Graphix" available? Nope. And it doesn't have to be. What it does deliver is what no other major competitor has produced to date. That is to say that it is a Quality handheld gaming platform. It just so happens that it also docks into the nice little cradle and also looks great on your big screen in the living room.

My girlfriend and I absolutely love this system. We constantly play Mario Kart 8 and Mario Party. We also have our own profiles for Pokemon Let's Go, and it is the perfect gift for any body on any holiday.

Have been using this for the past 2 years and it's great! Very convenient that I can play it as a handheld on the go or on the convenience of my big screen tv at home. Classic Nintendo content available too!

Straight out of the box, I really appreciated there was a little diagram of what you plug in where. That was nice, but I really wanted some more in depth instructions. Especially when it came to the joy con controllers. There are these little black pieces you slide on and it makes the joy cons 2 different controllers. BUT they do not explain you have to line up and + and - signs when you slide the adapters on. The first time I tried to slide one on, I slid it on the wrong way, got it stuck and then had to google how to fix it the whole time being worried and paranoid I was going to break something I bought less than an hour ago. Now as for the actual system. It's fun and a great improvement on everything the wii u was. If you have kids though, I would make it a rule that they cannot dock it themselves. The first thing I noticed my son doing was trying to push the switch down into the dock because he thought it had to "plug in" down there. We don't use it undocked all that much, but it is really nice to have that option. I really appreciate that the wii came with all the adapters already in the box. We didn't have to buy a bunch of stuff before the switch became usable and practical. I highly recommend getting the nintendo online subscription if you are a fan of the class nintendo games because it comes with a lot of them and they are always adding more. My husband and I spent about 3 hours playing Super Mario Bros 3 together and the best part was that we were able to save our game! So overall, I would say that it is fun, but not the most intuitive and if you aren't very "tech savvy" be prepared to google some things or ask someone for help. Judge your kids maturity levels and decide what is appropriate for them in terms of caring for the switch.

I love my switch. It’s the best counsel for anyone who isn’t really big into gaming but likes to play on occasion. The handheld portable option makes it the best system for everyone.

Nintendo is always good for family gathering session. Their games are made for more than 1 player to play at the same time and also made for a solo player. Games options are good for kids to adult.

Bought this for my daughter that grew up playing on the Nintendo. She loves it. Nice size screen for on the go. Loves the long battery life. Hooks up to her big screen television for family play.

Nintendo Switch is great for kids traveling or waiting at doctors appointments etc. Joy cons are not durable. Buy a separate controller for playing on the home monitor or TV.

My son received the switch for his birthday. HE LOVES IT!! Its a nice device. Touch screen is great. Nice size. And it can be 2 player. I love that it connects to the TV. Just a great system.

Absolutely love the switch! Sooo happy we bought it. It has been such a fun addition for me and my family. My toddler son is even able to play with us. Much better than the WiiU in my opinion!

Bought for kids, but I'm using it more. They kinda stuck on the WiiU. Nintendo has an awesome subscription plan for old games, $4 a month. Has a wide range of games. Love the pinball games.

The switch is awesome for you and your family. Even thou it’s portable as well this is our second one we own. We have it it the family room and one other room as well.

I've been team playstation for a long time. I avoided the switch due to its price and lack of third party games. But with all the ports and amazing Nintendo games, it is worth every penny!

The Nintendo switch is a great system. Love the portability as well as the option to hook it up to a tv and play like a normal console. Only draw back is the amount of games available.

The switch was shipped here super quickly and im overseas! Wonderful packing and I love it so so much! A massive library full of great games for short or long game sessions! Must buy.

Awesome gaming system. Love the portability of it the most. Start zelda at home and finish elsewhere. Also enjoy the Nintendo online for classic gaming especially Punch Out!

Expensive console, expensive games, expensive controllers, pretty fun if you pay for it

I purchased the Nintendo Switch for my grandsons 12th birthday. He was really happy with the possibilities! Especially being able to use it on the 2 hour trip to my house.

The Nintendo Switch has been the best purchase I've made in awhile. The ability to take it everywhere with me and play my games on the go has far exceeded my expectations.

At first wasn’t sure about it, but this video game has great performance and I love the ability to play on the go or plug it on the docking station to play on the tv!
