I grew up playing on GameBoys, Nintendo DS, and Wii. After the Wii I grew up and felt like I would never see myself playing anymore video games anymore. I recently gave in and got the Nintendo Switch completely forgot how to even operate these things but now I am obsessed again. I live my switch it is so convenient and the screen is so clear and vibrant. The package came sooner than expected and I had no issues with it. I love that you can buy several more of the detachable remotes for this one and have a game night with friends and family. It’s definitely worth the hype and is fun to play by yourself but also makes game nights so much fun with other people. So it is definitely versatile and very portable. It also has a little stand on the back of it so you can set it to where you don’t have to hold it. The pic shows a brown controller but that’s because I bought several other detachable remotes and you can get any color but this one originally comes with two white ones.

Originally, I bought the LCD version, but after seeing my daughter and watching YouTube videos, I returned the LCD one and got the OLED version, and it is worth the $50 difference. The colors pop now. And the handheld is worth playing now. And the bigger screen makes playing handheld much easier on the eyes. I wish Best Buy carried the bundle in store. Could have saved some money on purchasing the Mario game separately.

I really like the alternative colors on consoles, so this was on my radar for a while. My first experience with an OLED screen was the PS Vita, and it had such a beautiful image quality. This switch became a must buy for me, and I don't regret my purchase one bit. The bigger screen and beautiful image quality is worth every penny. I hope Nintendo's next console ships with an OLED screen from the start of the generation. Highly recommended if you are in the market for a new switch.

If you are debating between the 1st generation or the OLED just get the OLED !!! Way better graphics and volume. The quality definitely shows on the OLED and the screen is bigger! I even got to decorate mine all girly which was fun !

The Nintendo Switch OLED Model is a clear improvement over the original. The OLED screen is bright and vibrant, making games look amazing in handheld mode. The new stand is sturdier, and the upgraded speakers give much better sound.
It still plays all the same games, but the overall experience feels more premium. If you love playing on the go, this version is definitely worth it

After 3 years of wanting a Switch, I finally got my hands on one, lol!
In 2021 when the OLED vers came out, my partner and I tried to get it but we couldn't cause we never pre-ordered and we weren't gonna be scalped for a Switch.
So, we waited (and forgot that we wanted one) for a year and change and finally!
Having played and observed both base and OLED models, the OLED really outshines the base. The colours pop more, the additional 2" of screen make the gaming experience more fulfilling. It also just feels bigger in the hand despite the dimensions being the same!
If you ever wanted a Switch, I say get the OLED! You'll be happy.

The Nintendo Switch OLED is a great option for anyone looking for a portable gaming console. The OLED screen provides an exceptional viewing experience, with deep blacks and vibrant colors that make games look more immersive. The console's hybrid design allows for both portable and home play, and the Joy-Con controllers are easy to use and comfortable to hold. The battery life is also quite good, allowing for hours of play on a single charge. The switch has a wide range of games available, both classic and new, that cater to all ages and preferences, making it a great option for both solo and multiplayer gaming. Overall, the Nintendo Switch OLED is a great investment for anyone looking for a high-quality portable gaming experience.

My fiancé and I purchased an original Switch a couple of years ago and its been a great console. But WOW after buying the OLED model its very difficult for me to use our old one. The screen size difference is noticable between the two. Everything is much brighter and more vibrant on the OLED model! Yes the resolution is the same on both consoles so it might not seem like an upgrade but it definitely is imo. The only two downsides for me is it's a little heavier than the original, and I wish it came with a little more storage than 64GBs.

I'm actually enjoying it more than I imagined. The extra battery life is great. The brightness makes games vibrant. It runs noticeably better on some difficult games (hello Pokemon). If you only play at home docked, buy whatever is cheapest.
But if you travel a lot (which my job now requires) this is amazing for long trips and down time. When my buddy has the wheel I'm doing great on my OLED Switch.

I haven't owned a Nintendo console since the OG NES, but I've played on just about every iteration since then. The times certainly have changed too. The OLED model of the Nintendo Switch checks all of the boxes for me personally, as well as my family -- compact, portable, surprisingly good graphics on the built-in display, easy to connect to external display, straightforward UI/UX. Nintendo definitely got it right with this one.

I'm super late to the Switch party, but with the OLED model coming out coupled with an itch to play Animal Crossing that would not go away, I decided to pick one up. I'm really happy with it so far. It's amazing to see how far Nintendo has come. Graphics are amazing and I just love the controls. I haven't tried using the dedicated controller yet nor have I connected it to a TV. The portability is the best part though.

I missed having a nice portable game console. I used to have a Game Boy Color and later a Game Boy Adavnce and Game Boy Advance SP. This is much better to play on since it's got a much bigger screen. I also love how I can use it plugged in to the TV for an ever bigger screen and playing from the couch where my siblings can see what I am doing. I love Nintendo! Yes, I realize there were other handheld gaming consoles from Nitendo in Between the Game Boy Advance Lineup and the Swicth Lineup. But it didn't work out before to have the ones in between so I missed out on having a portable gaming handheld from Nintendo that filled in the gaps in ability. I haven't had too much issue with the limited storage capacity so far since I do not buy digital titles exclusively and do not have very many games in total just yet. I am kin of old school and believe physical games are better unless you know you are going to never want to trade them in or sell them when you are done and never want to loan them out. Though I could certainly see why someone would find the storage capacity too limiting

I’ll say it’s a worthwhile upgrade from a Switch Lite. I’m brought it to my brothers house to compare an OG Switch with this OLED model, and it’s amazing when comparing. The bezel is smaller, screen = bigger, sound is louder but not better in any other way that I can tell so far. My absolute favorite part about this model is the OLED screen. I tested it by waiting for parts in a game like Yugioh or Super Smash Bros and put my thumb in front of the dark part. I could not see the silhouette of my thumb AT ALL. The black colors are totally black coming from this screen, and I freaking LOVE IT!! Everything pops!! (Don’t let the picture fool you, it’s much better in person, I can promise you that)

The Nintendo Switch OLED is easy to setup. From handheld, to the big screen, with downloads onto memory cards to physical cartridges, the Switch OLED displays an immersive experience for on the go and at home.

This is my second switch, gave my old one to my kid and upgraded to the oled and I love it. It’s definitely worth the extra $50 for the oled model. I don’t really notice a difference in battery consumption either and that was my main worry about switching to oled. Would definitely recommend to family or friends or anyone reading this.

This is a much bigger upgrade than I expected from my Switch Lite. The screen is simply outstanding, and feels much bigger than I thought it would be. The colors pop, the contrast is infinite, and the darks are pitch black. Despite the larger screen size, resolution doesn’t seem adversely affected. The kickstand is worlds better than the original. It feels beefy, and holds its position at almost any angle. The sound is great, but honestly, I don’t notice too much of a difference. The white Joycons are clean and crisp. If you don’t have a Switch, or only have a Switch Lite or Launch Switch, this is an absolute must. If you have a Switch V2, it’s debatable.

For the past few years my husband has been telling me i would probably enjoy a switch. Im not a gamer in any capacity. But i was playing stupid games on my phone that i had to watch a ton of ads for. Well I finally broke down and got one this past december. I have let him have this one win and relish in the fact he was actually right for once. I will say his suggestion of the OLED was a good one. Not having just an oversized gameboy but an entire gaming console makes it worth the price. Plus being able to take it with me on my monthly work trips and not even really having to charge it is my favorite feature.

A solid gaming console. Nintendo still delivers an excellent system with easy-to-use functionality. The selling feature of this system is the flexible portability and fun gaming library. Plus an excellent game platform for multiplayer fun! This OLED model display is bright and clear; the screen size is nicely enlarged with fewer bezels (Making this system a more enjoyable experience in handheld form) and the back stand for the switch is upgraded to a solid stand with different levels of adjustability (the built quality is improved over the previous version's flimsy cheap stand). Fun for kids and adults alike!
