In my household we have every gaming system and the switch was one that i was hesitant about but now it's the system that's being used the most! The system is fun for all ages and most importantly your able to take it on the go! Without a doubt it's the console to have

The Nintendo switch is one up on any of the other consoles . It still has the same great characters from the original and then some . I can play with my 13 yr.old and actually be able to have a clue about how or what I'm playing .

So far it's been great. My wife loves Animal Crossing meanwhile I adventure in Zelda Breath of The Wild when I can.

Bought the switch as a Christmas present for my 9 yr old son. He's had it for about a week now and he really likes it. We took it with on a road trip and played Mariokart (our favorite game so far) on it in the car. It was so much fun. The controls are easy to figure out and use. It's similar to the WII U but a step up as you don't need to have a TV or console to play. You can connect it to a television and play on the big screen though too. Which brings me to my only 'complaint'-I wish the screen on the gamepad was bigger as you need to be kind of close to be able to see it when there are multiple players. Perhaps that will be the next upgrade, a larger screen. I gave the switch 5 stars because the whole family likes to play it, the games we've played so far have been great-Mariokart 8, Tetris, and Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle. We're all looking forward to Mario Odessy, which we will be acquiring very soon.

Although it is not as powerful as an x box or ps4, this is a great choice for kids because of the portability. There are more games coming out for this system in the future, but so far, my kids can't stop playing on it...maybe I need to review those parental controls.

My son loves his switch!!! So do my husband and I!! Lots of fun!!

Referred by a friend to purchase this console. Playing the Nintendo game with family members every day. User-friendly for everyone. And there are lots of fun games that can play with friends together. New way to get parties up!!

I've had this for about a month. I did all the updates to make the firmware current because at first, I was getting connection issues when I startup. I thought the firmware updates would fix that but it doesn't do it often. It does getting a little annoying at times. My family does enjoy the portability and games the console has to offer. I did read that some people do experience the connection issue and it could be something with the settings on the router.

I love my Nintendo Switch. I bought this item in prime time Covid ERA, and it was quite the challenge to get, and luckily I logged onto Best Buy at the right time and I was able to secure a console. Very satisfied.

Really easy to use and easy to connect to the tv. With a Nintendo account you can download games for free or try new ones before buying them.

I had to get a second one as the kids love the first one. I have had no issues. I love that I can buy a game on one and use it on the other. That was the one concern I had and was happy to see the result. Love it.

This system is miles better than the WiiU. You can use the handheld portion of the game even when away from the TV. The controls are easy to manage in regards to moving off and on the main game system and there is no longer the need for the bar to sit on top of your TV.

Got for our 8 year old for christmas gift. He was so excited and absolutely loves it. Needs an adult to get it all setup. But easy to use for our 8 year old once it is all setup. Fun system with fun games.

I bought this system because I really wanted that new Zelda game. I also had some amount of faith in Nintendo that there would be enough games for it to be worth my while. For example, I'm a fan of the Warriors franchise and Fire Emblem Warriors excites me quite a bit. At the time of this review, there aren't really enough games unique to this system to justify it for the impatient buyer, but I am a patient man. In addition to the new Zelda game, I have digitally purchased Shovel Knight and I Am Setsuna. These are both amazing games, but they are available for other platforms as well. As a system, though, it works quite well! Looks great on the TV, and can be played on the go. I love that I can connect the controllers to the main screen when I need to focus up, but for casual playing I have the screen separated from the controllers. The kickstand built into the system feels very unreliable, and I bought a third-party stand for tabletop mode. I had never experienced the "left joycon desync" issue that other users have reported. When I researched it, I found that variances in the manufacturers of the components lead to some people having this issue, and that they would make sure future releases would not have this issue. Guess I got lucky. I'm still envious of the people who got the neon joycon edition. Didn't pre-order fast enough...

Initially I was skeptical about purchasing this gaming console, however I/we love it. The console can used as portable device by a single user or put it into its docking station and the entire family can join in the fun. You can either purchase a game card or download a game from Nintendo online store just make sure you have big enough memory card inserted into the console. The only think I would like Nintendo to improve in the future are the parental controls. The Nintendo Switch supports multiple user profiles as all other gaming consoles do, however the parental controls are applied to the entire console instead of a specific user profile which makes the parental controls a bit n\more cumbersome to use if you share the Switch with your entire family. However this was not a deal breaker for us.

The Switch is great, easy to use on a TV or if the wife wants to watch 90 Day Fiancé I can simply undock it and continue to play. Some games definitely play better on the TV, but what a great game system for all ages.

The Switch is a great piece of hardware that dunks all over the Wii U. Nintendo really made up for their lackluster showing of yesteryear. Anyways, if you can get this, you should get this! It's a great device that is excellent for road trips, on the go playing, in front of the TV, etc! It still doesn't have proper app support for things like Netflix, so I can't give it a perfect score, but it is definitely something you should still pick up!

I like how you can either connect to the TV or use it as a portable console and my kids love it. There are plenty of games you can download and you also get coins when purchasing games so you can get some games for 'free'.
