Sold my OG unit to get this model’s longer battery life. Well worth the trade!

This is an excellent console for gaming with family and friends (even as an individual). The wide variety of games has something for everyone. A notable perk is that you can download an official Nintendo app for Parental controls, which allows you to set restrictions based on game ratings or content and set time limits as well. You can review gaming summaries daily and adjust if necessary. This console is the 5-9 hour battery life edition, which I have not yet tested, since I mainly play on my TV in the living room, but I will update this post when I test out the battery life. So far I have no complaints. I purchased several controllers, a memory card*, vinyls, and digital versions of games. *note: Attempting to have a large digital library of games on your console will be futile without a memory card. (I was only able to download 3 games before I ran out of space on the console.)

Good for beginners, brother had Xbox, now we have something both kids can use.

My little girl finally got the biggest gift after several months of waiting. Like the other reviews, the secret is Luck. We have been checking Bestbuy website since 3/20 and finally got it in 8/20. 1 time we were ready to check out, but unfortunately it was out of stock again. Anyway, the console is great. My kids love it. They play all day in the weekend. Recommended

I love my PC and PS4, but there is just something so special about the Switch. Not to mention all the awesome games on Nintendo's new platform. I cannot recommend this enough for kids and adults. Just watch out how long anyone is on it as Nintendo Games can be addicting!
