Already great system with improved battery life for undocked play.

My sons and daughter love it...as do I! This is a must purchase for any videogame fan.

I'm kinda skeptic about my choice on getting this for nephew, but he enjoyed it a lot.

Well it's Christmas morning, after reading setup on Nintendo box vs oh none inside the box, google was much more helpful. I recommend buying a longer hdmi cable if your plug is more than a few ft away. Connection to wifi was a breeze, online Nintendo setup fairly smooth. My son seems very happy so far, here's hoping none of the known issues I've read don't pop up. Update: 1st issue , Zelda that came as a online download code (bestbuy switch package) redeemed but servers unavailable at this time, which is disappointing as it's the game he most wanted, now I wish I'd gotten the physical game instead. Will update after he's played awhile, he's charging it while setting up another gift. Oh I did buy the screen protectors as online reviews state that the Nintendo dock scratches the console, better safe than sorry.

As a disclaimer, I've always loved Nintendo products. However, as I sat and watched my Wii u collect dust, I thought I wouldn't buy any more of their consoles. Much to my surprise I received a switch for my birthday with Mario kart. One week later, I was fully consumed by Mario Odyssey. Now I see they have third party games that were scarce on the Wii u and couldn't be more excited for what is to come.

Really love how you can play this as a handheld or an a TV! There are lots of different games for me, my wife and the kids and different color controllers available for everyone as well!
