The entire family loves our Nintendo Switch! We can play games on our TV (a family favorite is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at the moment) or you can take out the console and play it like a handheld. The transition is flawlessly smooth and we have not encountered any issues that I've heard about happening to a few people. I absolutely love and prefer the neon colors because they are fun, vibrant, and easy to keep track of. As a long-time Nintendo fan, they are a perfect kooky color to match their sometimes-silly ways. And for a lot of the games, you instantly have a two player setup straight out of the box. There are so many ways to play: TV mode, Tabletop, Handheld. We have used them all and it's been so flexible and useful, especially helps keep entertained for long car rides, waiting rooms, etc. For any age! I would definitely recommend this to a friend or to anyone interested in gaming and especially those who have any interest in Nintendo games. There are a lot of wonderful Nintendo-exsclusive franchises to make this a great buy. I have high hopes for Nintendo's future! Lots of great games already out and going to keep coming.

Great console that we have enjoyed playing with. Nice and portable and easy to travel with or to then plug into a TV.

I have been a fan of nintendo since family computer came out of market. This is portable for a working mom like me, I can sneak the console inside the bedroom while my newborn sleeps at night. I just hope the games will be a little bit on the cheaper side.

Nintendo has done it again. A winner with kids. Especially with mine. My 9 yr old loves it.

Nintendo proves gameplay can trump graphic capabilities. The ability to play games on the go is a huge selling point.

My friend's grandson has been wanting this. I have to say it awesome. Easy to use and more than one way to play on it.

New controller is definitely an upgrade from previous designs. Better Battery life also a plus!
