I love my Switch!

After the Wii U, which I had no issues with personally besides finally being forced to buy a Xbox One to play a few AAA games, I was looking forward to the Switch and ultimately Zelda BotW. Being a 36 yr old married male with a kid, I don't get as much time to game at home as I used to. It would typically take me months and months to finish a game and I have so many on the back burner I haven't even gotten to. I figured I would be a 80% docked vs 20% handheld Switch user. But in reality it's easily the other way around. I love the portablility. It definitely lives up to the hype. I'm able to play on my breaks at work and whereas 3DS play is noticeably inferior for a guy in his 30's, the Switch still feels like a full console experience. Obviously, the Switch is not as powerful as the PS4 and Xbox One, so it's still up in the air about third party support ultimately. But I believe if the Switch sells well, they will come.

The new games are fun and if you had a NES or SNES as a kid you can a good library of your childhood games in their emulator. Definitely worth it. The only downside is the cost of the games. A lot of games go on steep sales on the other consoles but you won't find any of that here.
