Super slick controllers and Zelda!

The Joy-Con controllers have Wii Remote like motion controls (only better), split controller design (hold one in each hand), joint controller design (attach to the grip), tilt control (even on grip or with screen in hand), NFC built-in for amiibo, HD Rumble force feedback (have to feel it to believe it), a built-in camera for the more gimmicky games, and super long battery life. The screen allows you to play on the go, or you can use the kickstand and play 'tabletop' mode -- and even share one of the 2 Joy-Cons for on the spot multiplayer! But all that is meaningless without amazing games to play, and while there are some cool games already out at launch (Snipperclips, Fast RMX, Blaster Master Zero), everyone knows that THE game to play is Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Which is truly an accomplishment in game design, and will blow anyone away who tries it.

Great for adults and kids
