This is both a great console and an excellent portable system.

My kids love the switch, I like thats its cheep and affordable.

I been looking to get a Switch for the long while not many choices at my locals some are pricey depending on what you're looking to get. I am happy to get one at Best Buy. Playing it on my recently purchase LG TV it's great! I would prefer this model if you enjoy playing on the big screen!

Great system, takes me back to my childhood. Love the ability to play at home or on the go. The controllers are a bit small when playing with 2 people, but they're great when placed into the holder to use as a single controller.

Bought this for my 5 year old and now i am playing it more than she is! Mind you I already have an Xbos Series X and havent played Nintendo since N64.

It a vary neat device. It’s fun to use and has a fair amount of games to get for the system that I feel are worth my time. Not the latest and greatest in graphics but still has game design that is so captivating and beautiful. Kids love it obviously. You really can’t go wrong with it.

The battery life on the new model is great. Make a difference for more intensive games. Nintendo needs to come down on the price of all these reports though.

It is hard to review consoles at launch as many of your issues with it will surely be resolved, and much of your enjoyment with it will come over time. So basically you have to average potential against problems that likely wont remain. Right now there are some issues with the switch, the only one I have had problems with, however, is the desync issue on the left joycon, a problem that seems to have lessened after a recent firmware update, and that I could have fixed all-together if I was willing to part with the system for a week or so. That is the most telling thing, despite an issue like that, I cannot part from my switch, or even 1 joycon from it. Why? well mostly because of Zelda, which I have sunk well over 100 hours into, and will likely sink in over 200 before I finish. Beyond that the look and feel of system is stellar, the satisfying click as you push the joycons into the grip is so satisfying, and being able to take such a massive game like zelda on the go without sacrificing anything serious is kind of mind blowing. It isn't as powerful as the ps4 sure.. but I would argue zelda is more gorgeous than any game on the ps4, and I can't take the ps4 on the go as a handheld. Looking at the first year of the system I have a lot to be excited for, and while the current lineup is slim, zelda will easily occupy a month of your time, and snipperclips is fantastic if you have a friend to play with. I also have I am Setsuna just sitting on the system unplayed, waiting for me to finish zelda, and games like mario kart 8 deluxe, splatoon 2, and arms are on the horizon. I do not feel, even remotely, like there isn't enough to play. In fact, I think that Nintendo purposely held back games from the early launch window so as not to be completely overshadowed by Zelda. That game casts a significant shadow, and might already be my favorite game of all time, beating out super metroid.

I bought the switch for my kids and they love it. They have A few games Mario kart and Mario Bros U Deluxe are a couple. I am a Mario lover so I also get to play with them. We have so much fun. My daughter is 16 and my son is 10 we have a blast. So far no issues with anything. Easy setup and lots of fun.
