The Nintendo switch does exactly what it claims and it does it well. The "switching" between handheld and tv play is super easy and fluid and the detachable joy cons make multiplayer super easy.

Excellent System, the whole family loves playing the Nintendo switch. Would buy again if we needed another system. the kids love the Nintendo switch as well.

Anyone can play with it. I like the color. It can be plugged on television and play on the big screen. Multiple people can play it. The game chips are small and allows to download games.

We got this for my son for Christmas and he loves it! Mom & Dad love that there are lots of games rated “E” for everyone which is great for our 8 yr old. Getting a memory card is a good idea as several games require large downloads and need the extra storage.

I only jumped on the bandwagon because I'd been playing on my friend's switch and quarantine seemed like the perfect time to grab one. I waited until it was in stock and had a mad dash to checkout. The system has great graphics and sound for a handheld and also holds charge for 3-4 hours! I'm really enjoying the experience so far as a first time gaming console owner and I am especially pleased with Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on here. I'll try to update if there are any controller drift issues with the joycons in relation to how long I've had them.

Nintendo switch is reigniting my childhood. Love the graphics and the controller is great.

I really really enjoy this system. It sure has a few flaws, hence no 5 stars, but everything else it offers I feel outweighs its problems. Cons - Some will say battery life, although I play casually so not AS much an issue for me, but it is still not so great. Definitely shut it off completely if you don't plan on playing it throughout day or charging it. - Screen is great in handheld mode, but the stand on the back of the switch is very poorly made. It is very tough to keep the switch propped up on it's stand. Also, it's tough to play a game while it is propped up, the screen is not big enough to fully enjoy from a bit of a distance. Would need to be a game with not a lot of detail or reading involved. - The Dock DOES scratch the system. Invest in a good $10 screen protector. It really does make a difference. Pros - Portability is great! it is a bit large so tough to carry around everywhere, but I throw it in my book bag (in a case I purchased for $10) and pull it out when I want to play. - The feel of the joycon controllers are great, I really love playing while it is docked to the TV and with a joycon in each hand, also handheld mode feels good and great to use. This system is still in it's early phase and currently doesn't offer a whole lot. Soon when it has more apps and games, it will definitely be 100% worth owning. If you are iffy on it, I say wait till it has more to offer before making a decision. I currently love it, but I think a large part is due to Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

This was a weird step for Nintendo to take, merging their portable and console business into one. However, i believe that this console will pay off much more than the Wii u. Its great to be able to take your games anywhere you want! Playing Zelda at home or on a plane or another friends house is awesome. The simplicity of the dock and go is awesome and great for console appeal. The hardware has great build quality that doesn't scream cheap toy like the Wii u. Its elegant and sleek yet it has the Nintendo charm we all love. The joycons are actually pretty good controllers too surprisingly. Although small in my hands, they are still comfortable and have some weight to them.

It also doesn't hurt that the system launched with Zelda: Breath of the Wild, one of the highest rated games of all times. If you have the opportunity to grab this console, do it, you won't be disappointed.

Finally caved and bought this for our little one. He absolutely loves playing games and watching YouTube on it. We did have the issue of joy con drifting after 6 mos, but Nintendo repaired them. I’d highly recommend this system for all ages.

The Nintendo Switch may not be the most technically advanced console on the market, however it is the most flexible. Switching from handheld mode to TV mode is as easy and effortless as the advertisements make it out to be! The Nintendo Switch is a pioneer for what playing games will be like in the future. You can play any time, any where, and any way you like. Sony and Microsoft would be smart to consider implementing similar design decisions into their next consoles. Nowadays, most people are always on the go and don't have time to sit down for hours in front of the TV. This is the console for the people like me who are always on the go, and rarely at a standstill.

I've had this console for over a month now with no issues. Been able to connect it to my Roku TV, connect it to my Acer laptop, play it in portable mode, and use a third-party controller from Amazon with minimal setup and no problems with the games or hardware. I only have physical game copies, so I can't comment on the storage space, nor the battery life since I mostly play with it at home and keep it charged. Satisfied overall!

This system does what its meant to do…entertain. I don’t play it much but it works fine and game play is smooth (tv and portable). Not much else to say about.

If you’re looking for insane graphics 1080p and 4K gaming you’re out of luck. The switch is not for you. I only use this in portable mode. The gameplay on the go is what shines on this console. The focus on this is games and by far they have an excellent lineup. Would recommend this for anyone.

We purchased the Nintendo Switch for our son for his 9th birthday...of course it was a big hit!! He absolutely loves it! From a parent’s perspective... We wanted a system that was a little more family friendly since we also have a younger son and this system is what was recommended to us, and so far so good. It was really simple to set up (and we seriously are not good with techy things at all) and parental controls are easy to add as well. We also love the portability aspect of the Switch, so if we want to use the TV that it’s hooked up to, our son can take it off the dock and play it elsewhere. Really great, and highly recommend!
