I love this system. It's incredibly portable, and I travel with it constantly. The sheer number of games available is staggering, and quality ones at that. Totally worth it.

I've been a gamer since the early 80's and with the exception of the N64 and Wii U, I've owned every console that Nintendo has produced. This is by far one of the best, as although I mainly keep my Switch docked in the bedroom, I have taken it on long trips and it performs just as well, although the battery life does leave a bit to be desired, as you only get around 4 hours of life in my experience. That flexibility and the standout lineup of first party titles so far (e.g. Zelda, Mario Odyssey, etc.) coupled with a few solid entries from third parties (e.g. Mario + Rabids Kingdom Battle) will keep you entertained for some time wherever you are.

Nintendo's newest system is great on the go or at home. As a lifelong Nintendo fan, I am very pleased with their newest system. Slowly it seems they are coming back to catering to gamers again after hitting their craze with casual fans with the Wii. Here is my breakdown: Pros: -Multiple ways to play -Great looking screen -Easy to use -Comfortable in all modes of play, some you have to get used to though Cons -Small game selection so far -3 hour battery life is a bit short, buy a battery pack extender -Hardware is less powerful than PS4 and Xbox 1, but it is portable so that is the trade-off If you're looking for the best gaming experience on the go this is it.

From creating your island in Animal Crossing to racing in Mario kart this system has a great range of games to satisfy whatever mood you're in. Want to settle a disagreement amongst friends? load up super smash brothers and settle it there. Want to visit a friend but can't because of the pandemic? Ask them to let you into their island and run around doing whatever your heart desires. I would definitely recommend this for anyone. The portability and ability to connect to a large display is well worth the money spent on this.

I hadn't reviewed this purchase because I hadn't used my Switch much prior to the Coronavirus pandemic. However, I just have to say that the versatility of being able to use this both as a regular console AND handheld has made this my new favorite console ever! I loved being able to play on my TV while using the Joy-Cons attached to the connector used to make it like a full sized controller. I could also bring my Switch with me to bed and play in handheld mode. It really is the best of both worlds, especially playing Animal Crossing all day long!

I haven't bought a video game system since the PS3, so I wasn't sure what to expected, but I was very happy with this purchase. I have bought three games since and have loved all of them. Buy a Switch if you can because it is worth every penny.

I have never owned a game system before and after trying the switch i loved it. Its multiplayer capabilities and versatility were definitely the biggest winning points for me.

It's a strange thing to review, because there is no comparable product, so you probably know if you want one or not. It's the current gen Nintendo console! The library of titles is quickly becoming excellent, the graphics are ... graphical, the physical unit is sturdy both on TV and handheld, the Joy Cons are great but much less sturdy (get a pro controller, even a knock off, to save wear and tear on these), the OS/system is rock solid stable, battery life is quite good handheld, game cartridges are good for trade in, but are so tiny they can get lost easily, so digital download is also nice. Just good clean fun!

Switch was received safe and sound. Charged it up, bought as a gift. They had no issues adding their Nintendo Account and playing Smash Bros Ultimate. Was difficult trying to buy one locally and online, so Best Buy came thru for us! Thanks!

I love the game unit. It is the perfect combination of kid friendly games and mobility. I love that I was able to order it online and simply pick it up at the very front of the store.

I'm a big Nintendo fan, brought this system for on the go gaming. Great fun in a small, portable system. I very much like Zelda and Splatoon. Can't wait for more fun games to be released.

I love the fact that this system allows you to continue to play the old games from my childhood as well as the new games for the kids.

Easy to set up out of the box though no informational materials are included. Most of it is intuitive and other questions are easily answered via quick google search (attaching, detaching handset).

I love this console and the versatility it offers, whether you want to use it with your TV or as a handheld system, it is hours of fun for the whole family!

I would suggest you check out the list of games first before you purchase it to make sure that you can find enough games on the platform that you will enjoy, but this is a really solid system. The fact that you can take it on a trip with the kids, and dock it to play on the big screen whenever you want to play at home is revolutionary. The only downside is the 32 gig max storage space on every game cartridge meaning some of the heavier games are downgraded in quality to be able to fit. *cough* Witcher 3 *cough* Although some games are only sold digitally to circumvent this.

The console has performed well over the months, however, the joycon stick deteriorated quickly with kids using it and no longer works on one of the controllers :(

I was fortunate enough to have snagged one on the Best Buy site, and got it for the base price. It's being bought out by bots right now and resold in ridiculously high prices. Not worth spending more than the MSRP, but still an incredible buy.

Title says it all, great console/portable gaming unit! Battery life I'm getting around 4 hours on avg with Zelda and have used the system during a few long flights that have made them zip by.

I haven't owned a Nintendo since Nintendo64. But, the Switch and Zelda Breath of the Wild in particular brought me back. The console's best feature is arguable its versatility. It can be a handheld, it can be docked to your big screen. You can play with a traditional style controller, or break up the joycons and freestyle it. It really is up to you and how you want to play your games. And it is that versatility along with the surprisingly fun and solid lineup of first year games that Nintendo has developed so far. I would 100% recommend and not only did I buy one for myself my little cousins I got 2 switches and accessories as well for Christmas.

This is so much fun. Very easy for kiddos to hook up on own. Take it everywhere. Battery life is great. As well last a long time.
