Is the Best Buy for my child the price and the different colors

My son loves this and you can take it anywhere! Play on the console or play on your tv, it's great! He's able to play with other players who are on other consoles.

I have bought a number of switches since they came out.I love this hybrid great fun for the whole family. It works both on the TV and in handheld mode and has alot of other features to get more bang for your buck!!

My daughter loves everything about this device It was a birthday gift for her and she almost fainted she was so happy lol

Her family loves this game. We might be grandparents, but we’re getting real good playing against the grandkids is wonderful.

We have not had a chance to play many games but the kids love playing the game solo or together on the tv.

I wasn't sure if I'd like my Switch, I heard it had it's issues, but I've found it to offer great graphics, and quirky fun from home to the bus, to the odd work break. Only downside is it could use some third party software like Netflix and Youtube, but that's coming soon.

I got it through curbside pickup. The console is working great. Although I am a bit worried about joycon drifting issues in the future. I wish Best Buy could keep a bigger stock because the pick up date was delayed.

Love the Nintendo switch . When you see it Available you have to hop on it , because they sell out first. Bought this for my daughters 8th birthday two months early when it was available , couldn’t chance it selling out.

I was a bit nervous about buying this for my 10 year old granddaughter but so far so good! She plays it a lot! It's been dropped numerous times and handled pretty rough by a often frustrated little girl and has held up admirably!

Fantastic console. I still haven’t had stick drift despite buying this over a year ago and using it heavily.

The Nintendo Switch system is a better mobile divide than stationary console. Hopefully by the time I beat BotW they will have a larger game library.

I love my Nintendo switch. The only thing I dont like too much, is the games. There are only a few games that grab my attention, unlike PlayStation. It would be better a more open game variety but that is on Nintendo.

I waited a really long time to get this because of the price point but it was so worth it when I got it. It’s like having a full size game console in a little hand held device. I may be biased because I’m a die hard Nintendo fan since practically birth, but If you’re debating getting this, don’t. Just get it. The only thing that isn’t really mentioned is that in order to play online with others unlike other Nintendo consoles like the DS is that you have to pay a yearly fee! That may be common knowledge to some but I didn’t know that. It’s only like $20 a year though.

The switch is awesome. I've played all of there systems. It's just the right Sizes for holding to play. Putting it in the cradle and playing it through the tv is also awesome.

My daughter wanted a switch for her 7th birthday and she loves it. Wish it came with more games on the actual console that were free but what do I know. I haven’t played anything like this since I was my daughter’s age.

Super fun not really much to say about the switch that hasn’t been said already, i have always gravitated towards nintendo even as an adult tons of fun titles and easy to use good console for any home the portability aspect is a major plus it’s just like have a ds you can plug up the screen. I haven’t personally experienced any joy con drifting but i am by no means an intense gamer and play mainly puzzle, platform, and rpg games. I honestly think the prices point is amazing for the overall value.

Reviewing as a busy parent I love what Nintendo has done. Being able to play full top tier games anywhere is the best thing I could ask for. The build is solid and I have had no issues or defects with the unit itself. Having a portable full system obviously means that it won't have the power of a dedicated home system but Nintendo has shown with Zelda that anybody who wants to put a great looking and playing game on the system can. Battery life is respectable and the USB C port offers many options for keeping juiced up for long trips. I've docked my rating a score for two reasons. The hidden costs of the system (sd card, pro controller, travel charger, tempered glass screen protector) can add up fast as most accessories are priced pretty high. Second, the hardware is ready for prime time but the features of the system software seemed lacking and incomplete. Game save management, no virtual console, lack of browser or apps and common online game and social features like chat and achievements are not present which seems out of touch for a dedicated gaming system. My confidence in the system will greatly improve with a solid E3 showing this June that show off more AAA games are in the pipeline and updates with the system ecosystem itself. You may not use all the play styles the Switch can offer, but whatever one you use I'm confident you'll be happy with it.
