Kid loves it, handy, easy to use, decent price, nice

This is my second one after my last was stolen. Can't recommend it enough.

Got mine on sale, and we enjoy every second my family and myself play it.

I have played it everyday since I got it. I have been waiting for it since May. Wish I was able to get the Animal Crossing version so I would be able to tell mine apart from my sons.

My 7 yrs old boy had been asking for a Nintendo Switch so he could play Mario Odyssey. The store had plenty of the consoles in stock as well as the games he wanted. When we were checking out we were asked if we wanted to purchase an optional 2 year extended warranty. In most cases I pass on the warranty but given the Switch is both a gaming console and a handheld device with a screen I decided it was worth purchasing. My son was so excited when he opened his present. Great experience overall.

All 3 kids love and use their Nintendo Switches. The controllers don't last long, but are replaced easy enough. I think they would last longer with proper use. And not stacking them.

The switch is fantastic for both kids and adults. The Mario games are a blast and the portability of the system is great.

My daughter had so much fun playing the animal crossing. My wife join in too. This was out of stock for many months and I was lucky to check avail in Best Buy one day and hit jackpot.

The Switch is easily the best Nintendo console since Gamecube, both with the system itself and the launch software. The transition between mobile and home gaming on a TV is seamless, the system is incredibly ergonomic, and the first year launch lineup is impeccable. That being said, the system isn't without its faults. Despite being a great system for Indies, there is no notable AAA 3rd party support, and its unlikely there ever will be widespread third party support. The accessories for the system are outrageously expensive, and knowing Nintendo they will stay that way for quite some time. The UI of the system is incredibly bare bones, a far departure from it's previous UI. Although this will surely be changed in upcoming software updates. All in all, the Switch has incredible potential, but there are still steps of improvement to be taken. So if you are struggling to get your hands on one, there's no harm in waiting a bit longer while Nintendo improves the system software and more big exclusives are released. The system itself is definitely worth MSRP, but I wouldn't recommend buying one off a scalper

I'll tell you this.... I seriously thought saving few bucks and get the DS mainly because of the title library and I care about a handheld to play on the go or while waiting for something. I am so glad that I picked the switch, it's so superior to anything I have seen, and the lack of games (compared to the DS) is a thing that improves quickly. Plus having the opportunity to attach to the big screen and play with my family is awesome too. YOU NEED TO TRY IT in order to understand what the system is. You won't regret! Trust me.

Great game selection for the switch and the ability to play it as a portable game device takes it to the next level.

This is overall a great system for my 11 year old daughter

My son got that as a birthday gift and just loves it.

Good value, spend the extra 50$ for the OLED switch if you can though

Nicely done Nintendo. I love the switch so far. It looks great, the ability to travel and play as well as dock and play at home are great! I have been using mine on trips as i have traveled a lot for work lately and the battery life is much better than i could imagine. Cant get enough of Zelda. If you get the chance, get one.

You get the best of everything with this "console" if you can call it that. It doubles as a handheld, and then becomes a console when you want to play it on the big screen. No complicated and messy wiring to deal with... you just drop it into the dock and you're off to the races! The Nintendo Switch might look a bit gimmicky on the surface, but once you think about the form factor, and the ability to detach the controllers and use them separately as two controllers, or both as a single controller, it's just a different level of genius that you have to experience in order to understand. Let's say you play so much that one of the buttons starts acting wonky... do you have to pay a lot of $$ to get the thing fixed? Do you tear it apart just to fix it? Nah, the folks at Nintendo already thought about that and have replacement controllers that you can just slide on... it's no longer gimmicky is it? Additionally, those tiny controllers have so much tech in them! It's no wonder they seem a bit pricey at $70... The resolution of the screen sucks you say? No way! The pixel density on the screen is perfect for the size and the colors are vivid. And for all the soccer fans out there, FIFA is a thing of beauty on this device! But sure, other games look and play fantastic on it as well. The Nintendo Switch is king of versatility! On the couch, on the go, on the porcelain throne... you'll be entertained wherever you might find boredom. The Switch is worth every penny you might drop on it... including the many accessories you can get for it. Are there any cons? Yes, but they're so minor you won't even really care! Do yourself a favor and get your hands on one... give it a go and see if you don't instantly fall in love with it. Oh, and if you really don't dig the controllers or the pricing, guess what? You can get a third party device that allows you to use ANY of your controllers from your other consoles... Now which of the other consoles can do that!!?? It's super cool to be able to use my favorite XBOX One controller on the Switch! Ahhhhh... the satisfaction is indescribably! Enough reviewing... I'm gonig to go play!
