I am happy with my DVD player. It works fine for instructional DVDs and for music DVDs. The earphones are great when I want to listen to music while watching news on TV. I haven'e hooked it up to play DVDs on the TV, but am confident the cables will work. The screen swivels so I can view the screen from kitchen or living room, and the remote works from quite wide angles.

Like the screen that swivels around and closes down when done.

This was a great purchase. It was easy to use and perfect for us when we lost power during the hurricane. Can’t wait to try it on a car trip!

Oh my gosh! I am technologically impaired and even I could figure out how to use it. Video quality is great. Volume could go a little higher.

It's user friendly and the pictures come through clear but I don't think it's in High Definition. Comparing it to the quality of the picture with that of the Sony DVD player, the latter has a crisp clear and better quality.

Bought this for my 4 year old. It gets the job done nicely.

This is a nice product. Very lightweight, nice size screen, great battery life and good accessories. My only disappointment is that the audio output could be a little louder. I'm using it primarily on flights so that would be nice.

Easy to set up. The one thing I wish it came with was a holder for when you set it up in the car. I've had previous ones that came with straps and a holder to wrap it around the car seats. Good quality for the price point.

Needed a DVD player to use anywhere, love the big screen

My son started a workout program and needed a portable dvd player he could take to the barn where he works out to watch the video. Perfect dvd player for this purpose. Light weight, screen is a good size and audio is great.

Buy the warranty. That way you are protected. I read alot of reviews about lid warping. But it works great so far. Long battery life

We purchased this for our oldest daughter for trips where we have a physical disc, but not a digital copy that could be downloaded on the tablet. It initially charged up fine and tested out ok. When it was working it was great for its purpose. However before a weekend had even passed, it stopped reading discs. It would give an error saying no disc was present. We tried several different discs, all of which worked fine in other devices. We made sure that the discs were spinning (so the motor was working), that was fine. We checked that the optical carriage would move, it did. So it seemed all motion was fine, it was either the optical died or the electronics died. So it wasn't that our daughter had put something in there to keep things from moving properly. We didn't decide to go further in trying to diagnose, we returned it as defective.

This was a gift to replace a very, very old DVD player that finally died. We opted for this one because of the larger screen size & options, especially the swivel screen. Price was great compared to others. So far my brother loves it & has no complaints about it. It's great for road trips & watching his movies while away.
