Not what I was expecting but it works well and I’m glad. Now this rolling ball massager was sent to me for the purpose of reviewing it and I have a lot of household massage devices so I know a little bit or at least what works for me. I was skeptical because this is a fixed roller that you can attach to literally most surfaces. Now during my initial set up I attached this to some dry wall in our living room and to my surprise it held no problem at all. I put the device about hip high and started to roll my lower back. We own a nice massage chair that gets in deep and this roller was no different. After a few grinds against the ball I was waving the white flag for a break which means that’s it’s working. I want it to dig deep and break the knots up in the muscle and I like that it’s a bit uncomfortable. Now you can control how deep it goes by the weight you push back onto it. So you can go hard then easy then hard or whatever might work for you. It works well however it did fall down overnight on the drywall but held on glass over time. You probably don’t want to attach to glass and push though. I would recommend.

Symbodi – Vertiball Mounted Muscle Care System
Good for pin-point massage – especially hard to reach spots on back and shoulders.
Muscle soreness on back and shoulders has always been problematic when trying to get massage or vibrator relief. Simply hard to reach those areas. The Vertiball takes care of this as long as you have a smooth surface to mount the suction cup. I had to try several spots around the house, and found that bathroom tile, plastic (like shower stall), metal door, or refrigerator work very well. Other surfaces sometimes don’t hold the ball very well, or at all. Basically if the surface is smooth or has a couple of coats of paint the ball stays put. This is clearly stated in the product description, so maybe think ahead about where you will mount this ball to be able to “lean back’ against it from waist-high to neck-high also works well for large muscles like thighs, especially back of the thigh and hamstring area where you can “back up” into the ball and move yourself up/down and right/left (small increments) to ease hamstring tension.
Use is very simple – just mount the Vertiball base, then pop in the massage ball section. When you release the suction cup, it will automatically release it’s grip on the ball section. Pull out the ball section and then flip the release lever to remove the suction cup base section. Once you have the Vertiball mounted, just press your body against it (not too hard) and move around a little to roll the ball over the area you are massaging. It just takes a little while to get the feel of how hard you can press against the ball and still keep the ball moving smoothly.
I tried using the Vertiball “hand held” which does work OK, but I would not buy it just for that purpose. Neck, shoulders, and back – those are the best target areas that will get the best use out of the Vertiball.
Happy New Year from Central Georgia!

This is better than I expected for sure! I was a bit nervous about whether it would work or not, but figured I would take that chance. First of all, it comes with a QR code that I used my code scanner for and it brought me right to the instructions and video. This is so easy and quick to mount following the instructions. And I was surprised that the suction was strong enough to stay steady on the wall while I was using it. It actually locks on the wall and once you are done using it, you unlock it, and the suction releases. I’ve used it for my legs, my lower and upper back as well as my shoulders. The precision ball really works to massage and releases the tension, especially in my lower and upper back. It’s a good-sized ball that rotates all around to reach everywhere I need it to. The instructions do say to unmount after using it and if using it for 30 minutes to remove it from the wall and you can re-mount if you need to continue using it. One time, I forgot to unmount after using it and just under an hour later, it did lose suction and dropped down from the wall. The loud sound almost scared me and I haven’t forgotten since then.
I just can’t say enough good about this. This small precision ball has worked wonders on my back and shoulders. I get quick and easy relief on my own by using it on the wall while standing up and moving. And I have complete control of the areas I need to be massaged. I am so glad I took a chance on this! And it’s small enough to put in my bag to take with me to work on my long work days. Definitely would recommend to everyone!

The perfect system to work out hard to reach knots

The Symbodi muscle care system is a simple, yet effective muscle relief tool. It provides you with the ability to target hard to reach areas of your back via it’s unique design. The system is extremely easy to use. There are only two main pieces that come together in order to use it. In order to use it, you must first find a wall that is clean with no heavy textures and cannot be wallpaper. I have a perfect wall with no obstructions near it. You remove the ball piece and place the suction on the wall and lock it in. Then you slide the ball piece onto the locked base and you are ready to go. I had to adjust it a few times in order to get the height just right in order to get the spot on my back comfortably. Then you can apply as much pressure as you like by how hard you press yourself into it. I had a know that was causing some discomfort when I turned my head a certain way, and it was typically caused by a knot in between my shoulder blades. If it gets bad enough I can have my wife try to work it out, but to do it myself would be ideal. This system will allow me to do it. I worked that area out with the ball and it worked perfectly. The only issue I had was I tried to use it on the back of my neck, it pulled some of my hair. This would be the case of any rolling ball system however. Overall, I would highly recommend this muscle care system.

Somebody figured out how to get a massage ball in just the right spot for those super difficult knots. I use all sorts of things to try to work out muscle spasms, like the cane, a massage gun, a roller or ball on the floor, and it's just really hard to get the right spot. With this firmly attached to the wall, there's one less variable. The ball stays put and you move yourself to press the ball against your muscle where you need it.
The ball and mount are very well-made. The ball part pops out of the wall mount part so you can stick it on the wall and the ball part snaps firmly into place. It is a bit stiff and hard to attach/detach at first, but it loosens up a bit over time and you get used to it.
It sticks surprisingly well to interior drywall, and it hasn't damaged the wall surface yet. It's not magical, and it will let go of the wall after 10 minutes or so. It's not a permanent decoration! It stays put while I'm actively using it. I've learned to take it down when I'm done otherwise it falls to the floor with a loud thud.
The ball doesn't roll around easily just yet, but that's not a problem and I'm sure it will work itself looser over time.
If this looks like the type of thing that you'd use to work out your muscle knots, get it. it's good.

Great, portable muscle care system

The Symbodi Vertiball Mounted Muscle Care System is an great device for reaching aches and pains you can't reach on your own.
The device mounts securely on the wall - first the suction to the wall and then then ball mechanism sort of clicks in to place. It feels very, very secure and I do not think it will fall off the wall. I mounted it just at my shoulders' height in my bathroom.
The massaging ball is pretty much an ideal size - not too big nor too small to get knots and achy muscles well-massaged and worked through. I use the Vertiball Mounted Muscle Care system primarily for the area between by shoulder blades and my back (where the "mouse knot" from using. computer generally forms). It's gentle yet effective.
The great part about this devices is its portability. You can snap it off the wall and bring it with you. I wouldn't go as far as to say it would be useful on a long car ride (don't mount it in a car), but it surely helps after a long commute or a long day in front of a computer. I am. a big fan of this device and would highly recommend it.

I’m somebody who works out a few times a week and often has sore muscles and some lower back pain along with other random aches from time to time. I saw this Vertiball and really wanted to give it a try.
The packaging is simple and includes a brief user guide to get you started. Additional information including an instructional video can be found online using the QR code shown in the user guide.
I was immediately impressed with the simplicity of the design and how well it holds to the wall. I really didn’t expect it to hold on as tightly as it does, but it doesn’t budge at all. And, best of all, it doesn’t damage the wall or leave any marks.
Using the Vertiball is a unique experience, and something that takes some getting used to, IMO. I don’t know why they didn’t include a softer ball, but I feel like that would work better. I’ve tried this on both clothed and bare skin and the roller ball is hard and honestly, I feel like it hurts more than it helps. Trying to find a good position is awkward, but luckily the unit is quickly dismounted and remounted to a new spot so that you can try again. But even then, it just doesn’t feel that great, at least not for me. My husband tried it also, and he doesn't seem very impressed.
The portability is great, but I’ll never take this to the gym. Using this in public is a dance I don’t want to do.. lol We might pack it in our luggage when traveling, but probably not.
This might be okay for somebody who cannot reach their sore muscles to massage and rub them themselves and has nobody to help, but honestly, I don’t see myself using this much at all and I can’t recommend it to anyone.

As a person who always has some muscle sore from apparently doing nothing this gizmo came in handy for everyone in the house. I've had a nagging soreness in my shoulder for a while now and this seemed to help it a bit. It worked out the kink I had in my shoulder.
I used this on my hamstrings and lower back and found out I like to have my muscles massaged every now and then. Who knew?
The design of this is pretty good. It allowed my father who is 79 to be able to hit some spots that he normally wouldn't be able to because of the ability to mount this to a wall or any flat surface. The handheld units were not as effective for him as this was.
The Symbodi Vertiball Mounted Muscle Care System is a good by for some basic muscle relief. I have never used anything else so I don't have anything to compare this unit to.
Everyone in the house who has used has given it a thumbs up. I would recommend picking this up if you any kind of mobility issue that would cause you to have a issue using the hand held muscle relaxing tools available.

I got to say that this is pretty neat. I was a little apprehensive about a device that attaches to a wall but the manufacturer nailed it. The monster amount of suction this has definitely secures it to you dry wall or sheet rock. The instructions say just make sure that you have at least two coats of paint. I can say that the suction lasts well past your massage session and if you need more time just reset the suction cup. Being able to reposition this “wall ball” as my fiancé and I affectionately call it, is the key to its utility. Massaging your shoulders, neck, or lower back, all can be done by simply removing and re-positioning the Vertiball. I would not recommend shower use as the mount does utilize metal parts and they will obviously rust quickly. This is a very sturdy build a takes falls very well as the suction does eventually fail if its attached to slightly porous material. It has hit hard wood and has not been damaged in the slightest. I highly recommend this for anyone with targeted back pain.

The Symbodi Vertiball is a very useful device if you need to get deep into knots on your back or upper shoulders. We mounted ours on the refrigerator to give the whole family a chance to try it out. Its simple to mount on flat smooth surfaces and sticks like glue to most. I went with the refrigerator because it's a common area and everyone walks by. Got a little knot on the back? Give it a roll. I have a spot on my back under my scapula that has been bothering me for years. I use a massage gun on it and get the wife to try to flatten it out but it always comes back. This little vertiball helps when she's not around to.
The ball moves freely kind of like one of the ball mouses that keeps your hand stationary. It definitely does what it's supposed to do. I have looked at other reviews when deciding where to mount this and it seems like it can mess with some paint, causing it to bubble and or crack so we have just decided to keep it in the kitchen or move it to a hard non painted surface if need be.

Good for applying pressure where you need it

The Symbodi vertiball is a great addition to your recovery or shower routine. It does a good job of allowing you to apply a substantial amount of pressure to harder to reach areas without assistance. The vertiball has a sturdy two part construction and is easy to assemble though I feel it could be a tad better. The base of the unit is first attached to a wall using the lever action suction cup with the lever handle facing up and the ball attachment slides over the handle and clicks into place. This assembly process is where I feel an improvement could be made. If you are like me and want to work multiple parts of your back and body this means you will be mounting and unmounting several times each use. Sliding the ball attachment off to access the lever mechanism feels unneeded and I wish they had designed this to function without having to remove the ball. It would make repositioning so much quicker and easier, and I would probably use it more as a result. As it stands, it is still a good device that does what it's supposed to do and I use it at least a few times a week. For the price I think you get a good value.

At first I thought this little thing would not be useful...but then I used it. I don't always sleep the best and when my back knots up because of this, and its not easy to find someone to try to rub the knot out. With this, you don't have to!!! I put mine up in the shower and worked the knot out in minutes! Its great to apply pressure to what you can handle and what works best for you. If my planter fasciitis acts up, I bet this will take care of it fast!!! Attach to the floor and roll your arch over it to break up the tightness on the arch. The ball is small enough to use to work the hands as well.
I have only been using for a few days so I cannot attest to how long it will last or how durable it is, but it does look sturdy. The suction to the wall feels strong but the instructions say not to keep it in one place for too long. Simply flip the tab and poof...suction is released!
I would recommend this product to anyone that needs a way to loosen up tight muscles or just stretch.

This is the perfect item for sore backs. It is really easy to mount - on door frames, walls, and anything else really. If you want to move it or change the height off the ground, that's really easy to do and so far there has been so loss of suction after moving it multiple times.
It also does a really good job on sore muscles and sore backs. After using it, my back and muscles feel so much better, almost as if I just had a massage. And since it's easily moveable, it's really fast to adjust it on the wall to address other muscles. Overall, I highly recommend this item based on its effectiveness as well as its portability and ease of use and reinstallation. The ball is not soft though so the pressure applied is dependent on your specific needs, but you of course control that pressure. You can also use it on other muscles besides your back, including your arms, legs, and anywhere else. I use it mainly on my back but it does work well on other muscles. Again, it works great and I highly recommend it!

OK so roller balls are great for releasing tired muscles and working on sore spots. The ball portion of this works great but the mount doesn't. I tried several flat surfaces and none of them worked with this mount for long. I made sure the surfaces were clean and free of dust or anything that would prevent a good seal. Nothing made a difference in being able to use this mounted. It still kind of works as a roller ball but is clunky to hold. I've found the most use using this propped up on the couch for sore feet. We use our cheap regular roller ball for working out sore muscles on the rest of our bodies instead as this just doesn't work how I expected it to which is kind of a bummer. I was hoping this would work well so I didn't always need my spouse to help out with the hard to reach spots. This is also more fragile than a regular roller ball because of the base or mount and eventually it did crack from falling while trying to use the mount. The ball still works thankfully so it's the designated foot roller now!
