I purchased this in mid January, It no longer works. I automatically switches to manual mode every time. It is a common problem-look online, The sensor goes bad after 1-2 months. Unfortunately, best buys return policy wont allow an exchange, and t fal wont exchange either.
I am very careful with all products and this is actually the first product I have had go bad on me in 40 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I love this grill, almost got a George Foreman grill until I did research online. Glad I got this one, it does everything. I like that the plates are removable for cleaning
