I had a remote start on my previous car and just loved the convenience. But, this Viper unit is newer technology and better. I upgraded the fob to the 2-way which lets you know the car is running. It works up to about 1 mile through walls and most barriers. Best Buy installer Marlon did a great job and programmed it to my requests. I didn't want the blue flashing light to function on the interior windshield mount antenna. I didn't want flashing parking lights on when the car was running. I don't want to attract attention to a parked, running car. Marlon also set the run-time for 20 minutes as I wanted. It's an excellent add-on. Whether it's used in hot or cold weather - once you have one, you don't ever want to be without it again.

Works just like you would expect a remote start to work...you push a button and the car starts from inside your warm comfortable house or office. You can set how long you want it to run. I start mine when I get out of the shower in the morning as my wife has commandeered the entire garage, seriously she has taken the whole garage over with her one vehicle I dont even try to park in there anymore its easier just to park in the driveway

The Geek Squad techs in Fairfax VA recommend these wiring connections when I upgrade my old car's radio with a new digital Bluetooth unit. They really helped quicken the install and worked great.

Not sure on all the technical terms for the installation but it works like a dream.

Steve mounted my remote starter in Oakdale, MN. He did a WONDERFUL job. He also was very patient and considerate when he was showing me how to use it. He is very friendly, professional & knowledgeable and a very busy hard worker!

Convenience of having aux & USB port without having to purchase new radio. Plus free Best Buy installation. Looks great and works wonderfully.

I was late to my appointment but thankfully he was very nice and was still able to install my equipment that day. He is extraordinarily smart, talented, and definitely knows what he's doing. Every time I've come to him with an install he was able to install my equipment professionally and explained to me how it would operate and if there was any minor problems i should expect. If you ever need something installed in your car, he is the guy to go to.
