Recently purchased a JVC double din head unit for a long road trip to have Android auto and use map's, well unfortunately since day one it has had issues connecting and often won't come up on the head unit to even select quit disappointing to spend all that money and not have it work well. Also I'd say the Geek squad techs at least for Greenville could do better at explaining things up front such as the chime will change from stock and look for attention to detail when putting the interior of the car back together. They are willing to fix things or get you in for an appointment in a timely manner.

I like the fact that the camera is in the mirror. The camera at times cuts in and out briefly. The image seems to be reversed as what I am used to on my new SUV with factory backup camera.

The installation started on time and completed per the scheduled time. Okay, I guess it didn’t actually complete on time. I checked out the car upon them calling. At that time, I found out they unilaterally decided to install an different backup camera than what I purchased. Told me I was go to get a refund for the difference. That never happened as it sounds like they refunded it to a gift Visa card that I no longer have in my possession. Noticed immediately that the car radio installation was not integrated with the car. Andrew the taller of the two employees doing the installation explained to me that the car readout was gone and in a very short rude manner. I asked explained to him that I checked with the installation expert at the concord location prior to him leaving the company and have seen numerous videos on YouTube that show how to integrate the radio and my model/year of car. Andrew (now ruder) tells me he doesn’t care who I talked to or what YouTube videos show as he’s a certified installation expert. I had to persist that he phone a friend to get help. Finally, between the two installers, they figured out they had done it wrong and had to rewire the radio. I’ve talked to store leadership and have been promised resolution. Now, I’m just being ignored by the King Of Prussia location.

When I bought the remote start kit on 12/22 (as a Christmas present for my wife) and scheduled installation for 1/18, you would think that they would have ordered the necessary wiring harness (included in the price) but you would be wrong. Everyone in the house had to adjust their schedule so I could take my wife's car to Best Buy on 1/18 and I arranged for someone to pick me up since there is nowhere to wait. When I arrived I found out that they didn't order the wiring harness (included in the price) so now they can't install until 2/14.

I had come in for a double din installation with the rear view camera, everything on the installed things works, but the wires have not been neatly tucked in, they have just run the wiring and didn't even take the time to conceal it in certain areas where they could have. My climate selector would not work afterwards, when I went back they fixed it quickly but shows that the tech's didn't really care about doing quality work.

Yes I bought an open box car stereo, took it to BB before intstall because it seemed cables were missing. Went for the install and one cable was still missing and the guy accused me of losing it. Offered no help to replace. Ad said all cables were in the box. Finally got a manager to provide the cable, I installed myself as I already had four trips to the shop to get this done.

When we purchased our Viper on Oct. 25, 2019, and scheduled the installation for Nov. 22, the salesman told us that it would take 3 hours to install our remote start package, from 1-4 pm. It took 7 hours. At one point he called us about 4 pm and told us it would be later because a 4 pm appointment had just come in and he had to take care of him, before he finished ours.

I trusted the Geek Squad to correctly install my car stereo. At first, the stereo seemed to be working well but then stopped working after a few months. Around the same time, I started to have strange electronic issues with my minivan. An electronics expert told us the stereo was constantly draining our car battery. I replaced the battery and removed the fuse out for the stereo. I took my vehicle to a different Best Buy location to have the stereo inspected. I was told the amplifier was the problem and it would need to be replaced. I decided to take it to Car Toys for a second opinion. The technicians at Car Toys diagnosed the problem with the stereo. There was a jumbled mess of wires, including exposed wires, behind the stereo. Also, the wrong steering wheel module was installed. No issues with the amplifier, it was working fine. Very unhappy with the service at Best Buy. Would never purchase a car stereo for this company again.
