    Geek squad guys were nice, but I think that when they instlled it they screw something in my car which broke down later due to a problem with the crankshaft position sensor circtuit. I called but they told me that they could not go to my apartment to help me out.

    I know this was a while ago but I forgot to do the review. Fist was a surprise when the guy said that I need to pay extra 45 when I spent $1050 get the most expensive item for my car , the sales guy said :you dont have to pay for anything else... well when I went to pickup my car I spoke with a guy , maybe manager, a Asian guy and he apologized and said that he will refund this money ... few months later I figure out that was never a refund .... and one thing , because it was done in my truck, second car , I dont use it often sometimes 2 or 3 months a part , I had a friend in the back and they asked where is your door lights ???? Hshahaha I couldn't believe it was missing for my both back doors ...

    I just made my third appointment at the shop. The initial install left my blinker not working properly and the remote start working 1 out of 4 times. The second visit fixed the blinker. (A cable had been cut too short and was catching inside the multifunction switch). The remote start still doesn’t work correctly. So again we have to drive an hour to the closest Best Buy. I’m not sure if the product stinks or they don’t know how to install it. Had a remote installed in another car years ago with absolutely no problems. Back then it was a different installer working it. The gentleman this time around seemed friendly but did admit it was his first install of that specific brand.

    After receiving a text message or email every day for the last week not to forget my appointments I arrived on time for the first of two appointments, only to find out that the service tech did not come to work. No notice from the Geek Squad, took off work to make my appointments for nothing. Then to ad insult to injury I can’t get back in for another month. To call this poor service is an understatement.

    Don't know if issues with stereo r product or installation related. Just know it had wires hanging down the first day and disconnects randomly and won't come back on til you turn off motor and restart truck. Grrrrr

    Geek Squad installed my new pioneer sterecommended

    I am not happy that the stereo they recommended was installed set into dash instead of being flush. The backup camera is mounted at to of license plate and with my owning a truck it sticks out right where I step up on the bummer at the back of my truck so it is going to get broken off as it is in the way of getting up into the bed of truck. The pioneer stereo the installer recommended does not answer incoming calls and constantly switches to google maps and out of no where starts giving direction to where ever it chooses. Not happy at all.

    I came into this store in early January 2018 to have some audio equipment installed in my vehicle. After explaining to the associate what I wanted I was given a written quote of $529.93 for the install, after I paid for I was told I would have to wait atleast 4 weeks before I could get an appt. I waited a whole month only to find out that I would be charged another 150.00, I have been a customer for atleast 25+ years and left feeling disappointed and disrespected. I was given a price and believe that price should be honored. I also bought some of the equipment from this store.

    After purchasing remote start with installation..about 2 weeks later got email canceling my installation. No reason. And heaven forbid you get someone on the phone who can help you. Ended up having to return the remote and got hassled when trying to get the installation amount back. WILL NEVER SHOP BEST BUY. NO WONDER THEY ARE GOING UNDER!!

    Installation went horrible. I risked driving a car that ceased its engine multiple times after getting my remote car installed with geek squads that night! Waited 4 hours! Very incompetent installation. Headlight and interior lights would not turn off after key was removed from ignition. The car’s engine shut while I was doing 65mph in highway. Returned it and had to get my wiring checked by mechanics. I had to replace my battery as well after the installation went horribly wrong!

    You Get What You Pay For...

    Dropped off my CLK320 for deck install. I had already installed usb extension cable and mic. All they needed to do was hook up harness to radio and install steering wheel controls. Technician said "no problem, I'm not intimidated with Mercedes...two hours". Five hours later, steering wheel controls not successful and integration to factory Bose amp not correct/complete. I had to tell him to simply stop and button it up. I would have been much better off finding a specialty shop and paid the 100-150 for pro install.

    Well the guy i talked to on phone was great he gave me an appointment for install February 18th i went there for the service and the guy told me i had no appointment left work early. I didn't just make this appointment up in my head . Service tech at whitehall location very rude and un sympathetic

    For a Volkswagen Tiguan apparently the standard install isn’t included. So for us to get this installed we would’ve had to pay $130 an hour for labor and we were quoted 5-7 hours of labor
