    Service was slow. Even with an appointment, it took a long while before the job was started. We even had to wait after lunch break to finish installation

    they told me my appointment date was incorrect when i showed up to get my cars remote start installed, but it was a glitch in THEIR system, no fault of mine. still couldn’t even get me in that same day to make up for THEIR mess up. only gave me a $30 gift card. not even my money back. would never recommend their services.

    Dash broken won't stay closed on Jeep Wrangler

    The guys there really cool, but my dash is still open, I've gone about 3 times and they close it last for about a day and takes a week just to get another appointment to close it again. Also the kit for the stereo i have leaves the stereo in where i can hardly reach the volume knob. Also considering it is a jeep i do have my top and doors, water gets in because of the gap in the dash

    I was like excited when I purchased this item as I wanted to upgrade to keyless entry. Unfortunately Best Buy's geek squad refused to honor the free installation that came with my purchase. Extremely disappointed

    Decided NOT to tear out my back up camera system to install a CD player in the dashboard. That was my only option and at $800+ was not worth the inconvenience of losing my back up camera. I bought a portable CD player instead and it solved the problem easily and at a fraction of the cost of a permanent install.

    Had a Kenwood head unit installed in my F-150. When I return to pick up the vehicle. I realize i couldnt use the dvd player due to the way the installer positioned the head unit. Was told that it i returned the unit and got a single din head unit he could install it. Friend has the same vehicle and head unit and his works fine with proper installation.

    My daughter gave me a remote start for my car for Christmas, I called right away to schedule installation. I was told the first available appointment was in March. Really Best Buy, MARCH, this is terrible customer service. Had this not been a gift from my daughter, I would have returned it and gone elsewhere.

    Second time installing a remote start to my car and was the worst i took a day of my job, and the guy didn’t know what he was doing. And at the end he didn’t do anything so I canceled my orden

    Don’t buy this. You can wait up to 2 months for Best Buy to install it in your car. Not worth the wait on my end.

    Loose power wires.

    The install was a failure due to a loose constant 12 volt power wire they installed. I had to take my car back and let them find the issue and repair it. After the repair was made there were no more issues. The more experienced technician made the repair and did a complete recheck of the entire installation.

    Installation of a terrible remote starter

    Had a remote starter put on my wife's car does not operate correctly it starts the car and that's it rear defroster does not come on automatically you have to pay additional charge to get them to hook it up do not buy remote starter from Best Buy without checking to see if it does everything you need

    Was assured the company stood by their work but when it caused my car to blow a fuse they would not refund the costs Dealer stated it was probably the aftermarket starter but the company said the dealer was wrong, and now I had to have it removed and am out all costs and have no start :(

    The geek squad is only as good as the people they hire which isn’t consistent I had a sub installed in the kid installed it so that it stays on all the time and burned out my battery. I had to return it re-done only positive is Best Buy is made good and refunded my cost of car battery

    I wasn’t impressed at all with the service I received. My factory system sounded so much better. When I asked if I should upgrade the other components to make it sound better, the installer had no opinion. I should have taken my car to a professional car stereo installed.

    Installation is being delayed due to COVID 19 closure. Since cancellation I have not heard a peep as to when new appt is. I expect at least a monthly update. Instead a survey asking how it was. Ridiculous, you should already know.
