T.J. Hooker starred William Shatner as Sgt. T.J. Hooker, a no-nonsense cop who worked for the "Academy Precinct". Adrian Zmed starred as Hooker's partner Vince Romano for season 1-4. Also co-starred Heather Locklear as Officer Stacy Sheridan for seasons 2-5 and James Darren, first as a street racer by the name of "Devil" Dan Danko in season two episode "King Of The Hill", then later as Officer Jim Corrigan from late season 2 through season 5. I was glad to see that this series had been released in its entirety. Previously only seasons 1-2 were available on DVD from Sony Home Entertainment. When I opened the package I noticed that Shout! Factory had followed the same pattern as Sony did with their release by offering seasons 1-2 in one clamshell; this was done because T.J. Hooker was a mid-replacement series for ABC when it first debuted in 1982 with only a handful of episodes; it moved to CBS for its fifth and final season in 1985. Seasons 3-5 were released in their own individual clamshells in this package. I had a good time re-watching these shows. One of my favorite episodes is season 2's "Terror At The Academy". Other notables that I recalled watching in my youth were "Second Chance", "Blue Murder", "Night Vigil", "Pursuit" and "Target Hooker". The picture is presented in its original 1:33 format and upconverted nicely in my home theater. Sound was passable, not great but not bad. All of the episodes appear to be here in their entirety with no jarring syndication cuts. If you have fond memories of '80's TV, then I would recommend picking this up. It was a good series.

The video is good quality for being from the 80s. Great being able to watch again after nearly 40 years for some of the episodes.

Classic Cop Drama, great to have the complete series on DVD

After 12 years since Its initial release, fans like myself were left pondering whether the rest of the seasons of T.J. Hooker were ever going to see daylight. Well thank you Shout Factory for listening and answering our prayers with the complete 5 seasons, 21 disk box set of this great series. Once again T.J. Hooker will grace the small screen for myself and newer generations to enjoy together.

Good package for watching all of the old TJ Hooker TV series. Saves lots of time looking through the On Demand TV series. Just put this package in, then sit back and relax.

Classic 1980s series with a good cast. A good mix of drama, mystery, and humor. Nice to have the whole series in one set.

Had to search high and low for this dvd set for my mother who loved this show

Enjoyed watching some I didn't get to see back than now I can see them again & again I really enjoyed watching them Thumbs up. :)
