We got this phone for my grandmother she is 79 and only wants to use something simple. Which works for her.

If you are looking for an inexpensive non-smart phone, this flip phone does the trick. Purchasing a pay-as-you-go phone and using your sim card was a much less expensive way to change over to new cell phone provider. The phone was easy to set up and use and works well for mom without any complications.

Purchased for my 92 year old mom. Great for that non tech person, that just wants things simple. Just a basic phone, not much bells and whistles.

Got this as a starter phone for my son. We did not enable a data plan for it. Works well as a phone and he can text reasonably well from the keypad.

She found this flip phone easy to use on a daily basis and she has absolutely no problemsuch with the device!

Great phone - used as a phone only. I don't text and don't use the phone for web. Simple, easy to use, and if it gets lost or broken - you're really not out a bunch of money.

small enough to carry in your pocket bought one for my mother and one as a gift

i bought two of these for my parents who just wanted something simple and easy to use. Decent camera, easy set up and nice buttons that are easy to press. The only down side is the battery drains very quickly. Must be charged at least once a day even if not used.

This is a great phone! It's exactly what I need to tell my 8 year old to ride the bus home, or get on the daycare bus. Since my husband works crazy hours, we don't always know his shift ahead of time. T-Mobile has a prepay plan thats $3/month for 30 mintues/texts. I leave for work just as she leaves for the bus, so it'll be nice to know she can call or text if she misses the bus, or gets sick at the bus stop [not common, when i was a kid I saw it happen a couple of times]. Can't beat it! There are no frills, no games - so I know she won't drain the battery playing. It does have a camera, but I told her if she uses it I'll paint over the lens with nail polish. It's worked very well so far. :)

Good price for phone. I had difficulty with getting the phone to ring only. I read manual (not too helpful) and finally had to take it to the Geek squad after several people tried to help me without success. Still not 100% happy with phone.

Good phone if your just looking for a simple flipped phone. I don't give a 5 stars and I'll not recommend to a friend for two important reasons (for me at least): The phone does not have a "back" button - so if you begin doing a function and you want to get back to the previous page you cannot, you have to go home and start over. Second issue is that the phone must be on for the alarm to work - that is also a problem - at least for me.

Perfect phone for the grandparents, half the price of the carrier store, works the same.

This is an excellent replacement phone for my father, who is too old to learn touch screen and texting technology. I appreciate that you still have this available.

Excellent flip phone for the money! It actually has some very cool features that most flip phones don't have. I suggest you download the full owner's manual from LG. It's very durable, and gets great signal. Very easy to learn how to use.
