If T-Mobile coverage is suitable for you, the 1680 would actually be a nice value for a camera phone if not for its low earpiece volume. Set even at its highest level (without using speakerphone) it has the lowest volume of the half dozen phones I have used.
Good points are its small size. Very light weight. And the text font can be adjusted to a larger size which I find a nice feature for texting. The 2 tone wine and black combination makes for a sharp looking phone.
The keys are rather flat however and mistakes are easy to make when keying in numbers and letters. The back cover on mine is loose as well after only taking it off one time to install the SIM card and battery.

This phone get terrible reception, has bad echo on most calls, calender can only hold about 10 mtg. dates... and in order to look at the note, you have to "edit" it. Can't see screen in daylight. Need I say more?

Its a good phone for the money and it lasts quite awhile. This phone has a ok camera and takes really short videos. The only thing I didnt like about it was the t-mobile prepaid plan. I'm a huge texter and t-mobile doesn't offer the $20 unlimited texting plan like virgin mobile, verizon, or go phone (at&t).
