We bought this phone for my 12 year old son and he's ecstatic with it. The volume is good, there's a slot for micro SD card, the biggest down side I found is that there's no flash on the camera but he seems to be ok with that for now. In a year or so I'm sure he'll want to upgrade to something better but it's definately a good starter phone.

for the money, I can't believe how good the phone is. Paid only $39.00 on a special. Thought the web browsing would be bad and its not! Pretty darn quick! Camera is OK for outdoor shots that are not close ups. If you don't want to spend too much on a phone, you'd want to consider this phone.

This phone was a good gift for my friend in Vietnam because they don't have 4G. Anyway, it has the latest Android system and 4Gb of memory which is enough for the apps she needs.

I like it, my last phone was a Galaxie S II, I paid 349.00 for it and was not very impressive, it quit working all together. I paid $48. for the Alcatel Evolve and don't miss the Samsung at all. It's very basic but works fine for my needs. Not good if you need web browsing a lot.

Great price for a beginner smart phone. It is a durable phone and is perfect for a first time smart phone owner. Gives you all of the basic functions you need and is easy to use.

I got this phone for myself as a temp phone till I had the money for a galaxy s3 but after using, I fell in love with it, it did everything I needed it to do and then some. My husband decided he wanted one so I ended up getting another and now my teenage daughters have one aswell. everyones happy with it and now they aren't bugging me for iphones anymore.. great phone!

I got this phone for my son for Christmas on cyber Monday it was a great deal the phone is loaded with features no problem or glitches with or without wifi he loves it!

For the price of the phone it takes very nice quality pictures. It is also good as far as phone reception and battery. Would definitely recommend.
