Good smartphone for the money

I bought this phone because I hoped it would have a better antenna than my flip phone. That turned out not to be the case. It comes with a manual which is pretty good, but somewhat lacking in detail. But this is a fun gadget for an affordable price. The video quality is amazing, considering the relatively slow processor. But the camcorder does not track motion very well, even when set to the highest level. Still, that's fair enough given the price and all the other features. Wifi works nicely, so you can get internet access at home without using up minutes. It comes with lots of features that you can have fun exploring and trying out. If you want to try a smartphone to see what it's all about, I really would recommend this.

Well, I am a 15 year old that thought it might be a good idea to get this phone. I was dead wrong! The bad things about the phone are that the sound quality isn't all that good, the pictures are good if you take them in the daytime, any picture taken at night will not show up cuz it's so dark. The memory is horrible, I can barely download anything without first being told that i have "insufficient space". The internet is okay not to slow but not fast. So yeah basically you got a bad phone for a good price. I guess that's what you must expect for paying 100 dollars.

Signal very poor

Bought this phone 2 week ago and had to return it within a week because volume did not work. The signal for this phone is poor, would get low bars or none. No signal on one day....could not text or call out.. Had to get someone on-line in the live-chat to help me with this. The only way phone is working is I had to select the 2g network. I live in a very populated area and was surprised by the low quality of the signal tower. I went from a contract phone to a prepaid to save on the monthly bill. I am thinking of returning it before the month is up....shopping for another carrier who has a better signal.

What else do you want for 100 bucks?

Decent battery life. SD card support. Android. Not the best processor, and not very much built in storage, but for a replacement phone, GREAT. Seriously people, what else do you expect for 100 dollars?

poor entry level android phone for tmobile

if you are coming from a feature phone (non-smart phone), you wont know any better.
if you are coming from another android or ios device, buy this phone for your children's first smart phone.
be prepared for the following short comings:
1) unable to un-install zte and tmobile bloatware - which means you will run out of space.
2) 512mb rom leaves about 30 mb of space for you to download apps.
that means everything else you download, it must be transferable to your
sd card or you wont be able to download any more new apps.
3) no screen capture - its ironic that google can track your phone,
contacts, emails, texts, web searches and data uses but you cant
take a snapshot of your own home page, your app scores or
whatever else you want to capture.
4) white noise from sound headphone jack, regardless of source -
whether its pandora, music stream, youtube or audio from your sd
card, there's a background white noise similar to hissing. ive tested
4 different earphones on 3 different other smartphones and this
concord is the only culprit.
the only reason to buy this phone:
1) its the cheapest android phone - without a contract for tmobile.
there are cheaper android phones on cmda.
after one month of ownership, why do i still own it?
hot swapping songs onto the sd card without any other software.

Overall I would recommend. I just have problems figuring out some of the things I can do with it. Need more training from sales associate.

I have had this cel for almost a year. I am not heavy digital-data user (no video, music) just communication appls. but I had to stop gmail in order to get updates for what's up. Memory is really an issue in this cel. And most of the default/standard appls cannot be moved to SD card (of which i had 2GB free).

I liked the phone but have had to return and replace so far x 2. Get the replacement plan or replace via T Mobile. Not sure if they do this to make you buy the more expensive one or not. Buy at your own risk. If you do, make sure you back everything up. Does work without the internet so dont let them push you into buying it. ... problems.. phone lock, would not work unless you removed battery and replaced. Would shut off at least once an hour. I do like the no contract part.

There are few issues with this phone as follows:
1. Its software version is not 3.2 (as advertised), it is version 2.3.
2. You can not upgrade its software to 4.0 and higher.
3. It is unlockable, and it is very difficult to unlock it through Tmobile.
4. The battery drains fast.
5. In order to use the wifi, you have to be very close to a wifi spot.
$99 is to much for this phone. The price should be around $15-$20.

I like that it has Android but the touch screen is really bad. It's very unresponsive. And even when connected to home internet it takes forever. This us the second one I have had because the first one broke after 2 days of use for no reason and I hand to reset the second. THIS PHONE SUCKS!

The first phone restarted at random and eventually the backlight went out. Considered it defective so best buy swapped it out for the same one under the manufacture warranty (different store from where I bought it). Not even a week later, the new one is shutting off...

Camera ok, no flash. Constantly goes into emergency mode. No one seems to be able to help. Only seems to happen to Concorde phones.
