They've got some really great features on this phone that I haven't seen on others -- like taking a selfie. Beautifully designed.

Phone was ok, but not for me it was to big and also the battery llfe was not all that great. Price was also a factor as well returned it and bout a Moto G LTE way cheaper and does the job just as nice.

    Great phone

This is a great phone with the best hardware available today. The LG skin is not as intrusive or annoying as some others (*cough* Touchwiz *cough*) and works pretty good out of the box. The 3 GB of RAM helps a lot. The camera is very good and LG's software does a good job at managing most lighting situations. Low light pictures are not the best as the software jacks up the ISO and oversharpens the final image. Most of the photos can be quickly adjusted with a photo editing app for a good result. The T-Mobile version is the only one that comes with an unlocked bootloader, so this is the phone to get if you want to take advantage of development. T-Mobile also bundles it with the least amount of bloat, and the few apps they put on there are easy to remove. After rooting and a few minor tweaks, the phone flies. It would be nice if LG managed to get the phone to work like this out of the box or with an official release. Users that don't root their phone will be missing out.

A couple people left a sour review of the LG G3...

Let me tell everyone I've had mobile phones going back to the days of the bag phone (lol). Lana Kane left a really, really unfair review down the review list and because of her angered review thi phone is getting a 3 star review which is not fair. I have bought 10 of these for my family and employee's and let me tell you hands down and we had come from the Samsung Galaxy s5 line up and a couple newer Iphone models and those phones wouldn't make a pimple on the G3's rearend...!!!!!! This is truly a world class phone and I would like to thnk I have great common sense when it comes to these things, having said that I will tell you if you do not purhase the G3 you have gravely cheated yourself out of the best phone on the market, bar none!!!!!!!!!!!! And nobody has paid me or enticed me in any fashion to leave this review. I was so aggravated when I saw the unfair reviews of this product. The G3 is smoking fast with super crisp display and a laser focusing camera which is out of this world and oh, oh oh oh if you can watch any video n 4k which this phone is 4k, its like looking @ liquid. Anyhoo, I hope I have helped the viewing audience with a fair review and unbiased opion, actually maybe I am biased now but if you end up owning this phone you also will be. Take care!!!!

By far the best smartphone I've ever owned

I wasn't planning on writing a review, but after I saw some of the negative ones I felt that I needed to chime in. The battery life is EXCELLENT. I don't know if the other members received underperforming products or perhaps if the T-Mobile version is somehow different (I have the Verizon version but I don't believe it should make a difference), but I have no complaints about it. After leaving it charging overnight, I can use it for about 30 minutes before the battery level even drops to 99%. It is very fast and responds quickly. I've found I don't even have a need to use a task killing app, it never seems to slow down regardless of how many apps I have open. There's no lag when switching between apps either. I do agree that the knocking feature isn't as responsive as it should be. Sometimes I need to tap a few times in order to get the screen to turn on. The display is gorgeous. I've gotten used to it as I've had the phone for several months, but when I turned on my old Galaxy S3 I felt like I was looking at a dirty window in comparison. It's spoiled me. It has an AC wireless network adapter which is incredibly fast. Connected to my home internet via my AC router, I average speeds of about 50-60Mbps with occasional spikes going over 100Mbps. No exaggeration. If you use it alot at home on your wi-fi network, I strongly suggest investing in an AC router. They're dropped quite a bit in price and you will be amazed at the difference in speed. Other than that, I haven't had any problems with call quality or connection and other than the delay with the knocking feature, I can't think of any other cons. Rooting it is very easy and will result in a it running even faster. I definitely recommend doing it.

I love this phone so much

I love this phone, it performs great (Thanks to the 2.5 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor), its speakers are decently louder than average (Not saying it could compete with Sony or HTC devices in music playback, though), Comes with many smart & cool features, the Camera is great (Not Samsung GS5 or Sony Xperia Z series great, but still great) and no doubt fast (Thanks to the laser Auto-focusing system), the screen is the best feature on the phone (5.5" qHD display with an incredible PPI of 538), and the device is quiet small and easy to use when you consider its screen size is 5.5 inches (Thanks to the thin bezels and rear button layout). There are 2 major problems with this device though: The phone, much like its predecessor, is unlikely to survive a drop if you don't have a decent case (I suggest you buy an Otterbox Defender/Symmetry , Spigen Slim Armor/Air Cushion, or Supcase Unicorn Beetle/Premium), and the other issue is it gets targeted by thieves in my school, otherwise the phone is amazing and i would easily recommend it to anyone looking for a large, high-performance Android phone.

    Not Worth it

Purchased this phone the day of its debut after reading the "great" features and specs. Fresh out the box, I was pleased with the overall looks of the phone. Lightweight and great screens size. That is the only thing good about this phone. LG left me disappointed as a first time customer. - Drops calls constantly - Screen does not respond at times, it will constantly shut off - Battery life is not even close to what was stated - System is very slow at times - Phone shuts down my different Apps out of nowhere - Overheats with less than 10 min of usage to about 150 degrees! - Phone is very unresponsive (ex. texting, web browsing while on wi-fi or on network, unlocking with the "knock" feature) I should have just kept my Note 3

Poor Copy of the HTC M8

If you're going to spend $629.99 on a copycat HTC, you might as well just buy the real thing. I'd only recommend this phone if the price was lower like say, $300 lower.
