We were having problems with an older Samsung dropping calls so we looked into the Grand Prime since it was bigger and better camera optics. It has worked flawlessly since we got it a month ago. Much easier to read with the larger display and takes better photos also. It definitely does not have all the bells and whistles of a S6 but for less than 1/4th the price it works just fine. Battery life is also much better than the Avant it replaced. Don't try to load up too much music and you'll be fine.

Phone is big. Runs well, and has nice features. Samsung is always my favorite.

The phone size is good for reading without my glasses. Just wish it had 16gb memory to combat all the preloaded stuff. If I could I would have given it a 4.5.

This phone is fairly easy to use, but I did have to use the owner's guide to figure out some features. Phone call sound quality is clear. Front facing camera takes good photos. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was because of the size, which for is a little larger than I'd like. But for those watching movies, this would be a plus.

This samsung phone is very good in that it does everything that other phones costing more does and the price is very reasonable. The images on the screen are very clear and the colors are beautiful. I would recommend to anyone looking for a no contract phone. Very good for the price.

Bought this phone for my 12yr old son and its great. No issues thus far. Didnt wanna buy him an expensive phone again considering he been thru 3 phones in less than 2yrs. This was perfect, no drop calls, able to contact him anytime, up to date software, camera quality not bad, easy to operate, good quality phone for the price.

This is a really good phone for the price I paid. It's up to date, huge screen, sleek, and efficient. I'm not huge into the latest technology but it's great for the purposes I need it.

We got these phones at Best Buy with their great sales price to replace our 5-year old Android phones. Phones arrived at the store as promised with easy pick up procedures. The customer service at the phone desk helped us setup the phones and we were good to go. This may not be the top of the line but it has every features needed for most people.

Great phone for a pre-paid plan. It's slim and sleek, the camera takes great pics and it can accommodate up to a 64 GB sd card. The screen looks great, it's fast and I haven't noticed any dropped calls. I'm very satisfied and have no complaints.

Reliable and does whatever i need it to do. I bought this phone as a back up to my note 5 and this phone is excellent at not letting me down when i have to use. The display is ok but then again i am used to high end found on my other phone, this goes about every other aspect of the phone. but for the price range is absolutely a great deal considering the useful software and quality you expect from samsung. I took all the phones in the price range in consideration and this phone comes on top.

Bought it for my sister. She was not liking her phone screen size. This has a nice bigger screen and works great. Just put in the sim card from the old phone if compatible and you're on. Add a memory card with it cause 8gb is not enough anymore for vids and pixs.

Great smart phone, excellent camera on front and back. The service with TMOBILE is awesome. No dropped or lost calls. This prepaid phone is very easy to set up or just add to your already established prepaid plan with TMOBILE with just 1 phone call.

So far I have loved this phone. It has the perfect screen size, good resolution, and is very speedy. The only two issues is the battery drains fairly quickly with use and it only has 8 gigs which is a problem given all the preinstalled apps that you can't get rid of. Other than that it's great!

I needed smartphones for my 16 year twins. This is a great smartphone for the price. All the bells and whistles without the cost. It also has a great camera. I added 64GB microSD cards for $20 so they can take all the pictures or load all the games they want.

This phone is really great the price is excellent and i ended up buying 2 more after the original for my parents its quality is as good if not better then my g4

After two years of a supposed smartphone, it is a huge relief to have a phone that works like it is supposed to. The navigation apps I use open fast, the other apps open fast. If you use your smartphone to access maps, information in the cloud like Evernote or you just text a lot, this works. I don't need a super fancy phone, just one that works efficiently. This is it. My only quibble is that 1 gig of internal storage is not enough for even the minimum apps I have installed on the phone.

Very user friendly, excellent response, great camara and flashlight, easy access to apps.

I bought two of these phones for my parents. They love the phones and are perfect for those who are a little older. The screen is big, the font can be set to large, and they are easy to use. The only complaint is that there is no flashing led light to tell you when you've missed a call or text. However, if you push the button to turn on the screen, you will see the notifications. I couldn't have gotten them for a better price. I was ready to buy them from another store, then decided to check Best Buy, and they were $30 cheaper!!!

this phone is a great phone if your on a budget and really want a samsung device. it really nice looking and pretty speedy for a budget smartphone.
