Overall, this is a pretty good movie. If you have seen the first one and enjoyed it, you will definitely want to see the second. It's full of explosive action. If you have not seen the first one though, you might not enjoy it as much, but nevertheless for an action movie it is amusing and will occasionally keep keep you on the edge of your seat.

Like the first and third, it's a great movie. Storyline could have been a little better, but in the end worth the watch. Way I look at it is that it's not some garbage like "White House Down" with a horrible storyline and actor like Channing Tatum, rather like "Olympus Has Fallen" that's much better but with less exposure.

Second in the series, I was interested to continue in the story of the abduction and recovery of a girl visiting overseas. This sequel does not disappoint. If anything, I am anxious to view Liam Nesson's next movie. This compares well with Charles Bronson The Mechanic.for thoughtful script and high action.

I purchased this movie as I had seen the original Taken movie and enjoyed it. If you liked Taken I believe you will like this movie too. Original probably seemed a little better as you didn't know what to expect from the main actors in the movie.

Liam Neeson is such a fine actor and plays these parts perfectly. I have realized that he never plays the role of a reasonable fellow, he always is the secret ex-Navy Seal guy who will kill you if you cross him. LOL. Anyway Taken 2 was awesome, and I can't wait to see Taken 3 next.

Movie wasn't as good as the first Taken movie but was still entertaining. It is probably too late due to the age of the daughter, however, I think CPS should be called to protect Liam character's family from the folks looking to get revenge.

I originally owned this movie on dvd format only and liked it so much that I wanted it on blu-ray and digital. The blu-ray is so clear and the movie is great with lots of action and drama.It is nice to have it on digital so that I can download it and take it it with me where ever I go.

Enjoyed this movie after having seen the first movie TAKEN. Liam Neeson is believable as an ex-CIA agent. Plot was somewhat predictable and not as on the edge of your seat as the first movie. Still entertaining and the acting was good.

I really enjoyed the first movie, "Taken" and was hoping for just as good a movie this time. "Taken 2" is good, but it is not nearly as good as the first movie. I think one of the reasons is that it was a lot more claustrophobic in its street scenes and confinement scenes. In the first movie, Paris felt more open, Neeson went to a lot of different locations, etc. This time it's all so closed in. The acting was ok, but not great, and the family connection didn't seem as strong. The action was ok, but the first movie seemed to have more variety to the action. So I still recommend this movie -- it IS good and exciting enough -- but the first one was, indeed, a lot better.

I love Liam N., so this movie was a must buy for me. The plot was also pretty good, but I reviewed it with 4 stars because it seemed predictable. I liked how the story continued, and also gave some of the characters more "life." All in all a good movie to watch if you need a good action film.

i was expecting so much more from this movie. thought it was gonna be more action packed. was more of a story type movie and ending was tad bit lame. all in all still a good movie

Again this is a great movie I just prefer the 1st movie for the better plot. This seemed as with most sequels a little rushed. You still do want to view this if you have seen part one just don't expect as great of a movie.

Taken 2 picks up where the first left off. The movie is Liam Neesen at his best. Only in this movie his daughter doesn't get taken... It's his wife in this one! He and his daughter forms a pretty good team in this sequel and gives non stop action from beginning to end.

I was a little bored with the background and plot-setting in the beginning of this movie. But, then it turned into LOTS of action. It just never stopped. And when you think you know what's going to happen, it changes. I really liked this movie.

A continuation on the previous movie, but builds upon the story from Taken. The twists in the sequel provides a different outlook on characters and show growth in the plot in which is driven by a universal feeling for anyone in this modern-day situation created for views on screen.

This is a great movie. I like it better than the first Taken movie. This movie shows more about relationships between the people in the story. The bad guys have their side of story as well. Very entertaining and touching - I enjoy watching it over and over again!

Picks up after the first movie. Not a bad movie, but it suffers from what most sequels do. It is just not a fresh idea anymore. And there aren't many surprises. Just more of a this is what happened next type of sequel

The first Taken was good and something new for Liam Neeson It seems they are going to keep on with the Taken theme. I love Liam Neeson so I like this movie. Eventually though what will be Taken next his cell phone

This time Liam Neeson is kidnapped and his daughter comes to the rescue. They're a tough family to tangle with! Disc video and audio is top-notched and the DVD and digital copy may be useful to give to somebody.

Short and sweet: If you like the genre, Liam Neeson grunt movies, action thrillers with a tad of retribution thrown in to the mix, this baby is a can't lose proposition. Now if you're the smarmy, "I need meaning and relevance in all films I view" this ain't for you...
