This thing keeps it cold for so so long! Like from mid afternoon. And I'll fill it a tad before bed and in the morning. Still ice cold. You can put just cold water in there and it works or add ice and keep it a definite cold for awhile. Works great. Haven't tried hot drinks yet I'm betting it'll be just as good. I was going for the cold affect anyways. I bought two!
