One of the best movies made that year, an amazing true story that does America and our soldiers proud by telling the story of one of our fallen heroes. I can watch this movie over and over, every time feeling both pride and anguish...this movie is about the heart and soul of our country and I believe should be viewed by every American...maybe even to be played in history class in schools.

This is a fantastic and very moving film. It is not anti-Iraq-war propaganda as I had feared. Instead, it could be any war - the care and honor afforded to our fallen soldiers is the focus. This film is done in a grainy style - not Blu-Ray material by any stretch, but it is what suits the story and the imagery that needs to be shown. The biggest thing about Taking Chance is the emotion it stirs within the viewer - it makes us consider the value of our service members and if they need to be put at risk in just any engagement.

I watched this movie on HBO 6 times (so far) - it is MESMERIZING. I had no idea of the care and respect shown to our fallen military members until I saw this movie. Keep the tissues handy; as many times as I've seen it I still choke up...

This is a great movie and great story. I never tear up in any movies, but everytime I watch this movie I get tear eyed and sad. This movie will make you have an even greater appreciate for what are men and women do everyday for us in this country.

As a military spouse with a husband overseas, it is soooo touching to see our servicemen treated with respect. The movie is a wonderful example how the majority of American people respect the military.

As a brother of a fallen soldier i can tell u that the movie was done perfectly. Taking chance was done to the tee. if u want to know what happens when a soldier dies u need to buy this movie.

I thought it was a really good movie. it's really heartbreaking to see it in person especially as a military spouse, you can only imagine that pain on the other end. Overall great movie!!

This was one of the best movies I have seen is several years. The taste which with this movie was done was awesome. The attentions to detail was outstanding.

A Movie You can feel . Great start to finish! Outstanding in that it expresses the Gratitude of a nation and its people..

This is one of my all time favorites. I cry every time that I watch it.
