Light and super sharp. Great affordable alternative to the more expensive Sony 70-200.

Really like the versatility of this lens while saving money compared to a Sony lens for FX30. Autofocus works great and the constant 2.8 keeps the image looking great.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL lens for photography and video. Tac sharp. Focus and zoom rings are just right. Very smooth. The build quality feels premium with a bit of heft and beautiful finish. This lens stays on my camera the most now! Only con is I wish it was a little faster but we can’t have it all at this great price lol.

Such an awesome lens. It did great for my photos and videos. Images came out sharp. The autofocus was able to keep up with what I was shooting. Down side, no optical stabilization. However, with the in body stabilization of my Sony A7 IV, a steady-ish hand, and planning out the shot before hand, got me amazing shots. Definitely a great lens for the price.

Kevin’s customer service was excellent. He helped me from the moment he saw me, gave me great advice, and helped me find the item I was missing. Even though it wasn’t available in the store, he took the time to search for it and find it for me so I could have it the same day. I picked this up when I bought my Sony A7 IV instead of the kit lens. It cost only a little more, but the jump in quality over the kit lens was absolutely worth it. It’s a great lens. I also own the Sony 24mm and 35mm G Master lenses, and if you’re mainly posting to social media, this single lens is really all you’ll need.

Excellent Lens..great optics and smooth zoom. Yse it at outdoor events with very little to none C. aberrations. Have other Tamron lens with never a problem plus saves me money without later regrets.

Total upgrade from the lens from kit, 2.8 is great for beginners

I’m not an expert, but I really love this Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 G2 for Sony. The bokeh is smooth and creamy, and it makes portraits feel almost effortless. The lens stays sharp, focuses fast, and has become my go-to for everyday shooting. It just delivers without making me think too hard, which is exactly what I wanted.

Great lens. Quality of photos is better than a name brand lens I have.

The autofocus does seem to be more responsive. The lens is very quiet and feels a little lighter on my camera. I have not tested or programmed the button and I feel that I could use that (if it works) to auto focus with the button while the camera is set to manual focus. Either way I am very happy with the lens.
