Very heavy, Takes good pictures however i seen better images on kit lenses. This lens is good for bird watching

If you’re looking for a powerful,superzoom lens this one is it. This is a well built lens at a great price point

Well It was just a bit to heavy for my wife, she attached it to her Canon D80 and it was to much to hold. So I had to take it back. Didn`t like the restocking fee. I would recommendif you use a tripod.

Love this lens, it is used frequently for wildlife photography, 600mm zoom helps get great shots of birds in flight.

I tried the Sigma Contemporary and took it back. Bought this lens and couldn't be happier. The only negative thing is the weight but it's worth it.

I shot with this lens, the Sigma Sport , and the version 1 of the Tamron lens. The Sigma was big and awkwardly heavy, the version one of the Tamron was not sharp wide open. This lens handled and balanced nicely and was sharp wide open. It has excellent build quality.

I love this lens. It is heavy so I make a choice when I carry it but it reaches out and captures photos well.

My husband bought this to use on an Alaskan cruise in 2019 so wanted to start practicing early learning how to use it. He is very happy so far with the results he is getting.
