Buy the real thing not a universal. This thing didnt work it seemed to fit but pushed in the "plug" and broke it so we couldnt even charge the lap top. Had to get repaired, and Geek Squad was too expensive.

The universal adapter isn't so universal. It didn't fit my HP ultrabook. I returned it for a refund. I will say it was an easy return process.
