Which it would have came with a carrying case or small bag. Works well.

Simple to use but use too much battery due to lighting

When Targus designed this presentation remote control, they included every feature important to a presenter. Once you've picked your platform (PC PowerPoint, Mac KeyNote, or Mac PowerPoint), it's plug 'n play from there on. The wireless receiver is a mini USB that stores inside the remote. The remote runs on a single AAA battery, and there is storage space for a spare AAA battery. The red laser is strong and steady. There is a button that turns the screen black when you want the audience to look at the speaker, rather than the screen. If all you want the presenter to worry about is using the laster pointer and advancing and reversing the slides, there is a lockout button that lets you limit the functions to just those. And the LEDs turn red, reminding you of that.

I have the ability to walk around my classroom and still advance my power point and use the laser pointer during my presentations. The bad thing is I have to tape the battery cover does not stay on and the battery pops out all the time.

Ergonomics are fine. Has 7 buttons - lock (toggle), power (time sensitive toggle), left/previous, right/next, laser, black out screen, start/stop slideshow. Haven't found a need to use the lock button; it only locks out the blackout and start/stop buttons. Laser is red, shows up fine. There is a light ring around the laser button that is either red or green when the unit is on, indicating the lock is on or off. Uses 1 AAA battery; battery compartment has a space for a spare AAA battery. USB transmitter/reciever is stored in battery compartment, works fine. Battery compartment cover is secure, opens with one button. There is a selector switch in the battery compartment with the following settings: PC, MAC KN, MAC PPT. I've used it to run PowerPoint on a PC with no problems. No installation problems- plugged and played fine. It also can be used to go forward/backward in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. It does what I need it to do. Happy with my purchase. If there is a Targus guy out there reading this, a nice to have would be to add memory to the USB transmitter/receiver so you can carry your slideshow with the device in case you're presenting on a loaner computer.

Used in a large group setting and the remote kept disconnecting. It would work for a few slides of the presentation and then malfunction. This is not a good remote if you're looking for consistency.

I needed a wireless remote to run my presentation from my Macbook to a monitor. The remote indicated it was good for Powerpoint presentations and was usable for both Mac and Windows. I assume it would work for a Powerpoint, but my presentation was in Prezi. Maybe it was my error to believe if it would work for Powerpoint, it would also work for Prezi. But it would have been nice if the box clarified it was good for Powerpoint only.

Did not work unless I was very close to the computer. The computer was a county computer and not up to date. Had to return the clicker.

Casing is cheap plastic. Material/design of poor quality. My last clicker crapped out after 10 yrs. Needed this product to do a presentation to a group the same day. Installed battery as per directions, could not close cheapass plastic casing. Had to scotch tape battery casing to do presentation. It worked but a lot of time spent for a product that ultimately was a crap design. Awkard to use with tape holding product together.

Came into the store with no product knowledge, just the need. I was getting ready for a training presentation to 60 teachers. Helpful Best Buy staff took me to the product, an easy purchase. Tested at home, it worked fine. But at the presentation, it started working fine but five minutes into the presentation it stopped advancing the PowerPoint slides, which was the only reason I bought it.

The laser on the pointer was not very strong for anything over 20 ft in distance and it was useless.

It says 50 feet from the device but it's more like a max of 10

I bought this primarily for presentations. The back of the remote where the battery fits in never closes right. No one i ask can close it so its not just me. Also, there is no way to click on a video play button for in presentation videos, so I have to go to the computer and click the play button. It should specify that on the box. I am highly dissatisfied with this prouduct.

I have had other brands of clickers that are more user friendly.

I purchased this item because it said it would work for PowerPoint and Keynote presentations. Unfortunately I could not get it to work on either no matter what position the switch was in. I ended up returning this product and buying a different brand that was less expensive and worked the on the first try.

I purchased the Targus laser presentation remote. When taking it to church and using it, I was highly disappointed. It was very difficult to pick up the signal to the computer. The battery died after the first use. And then it would occasionally skip 3 to 4 slides at one time! I would never recommend this item to anyone!!

Great idea however it needs help with the design, not the best
