Have to open it to get usb out every time. I stopped closing after about the 10th use. Stopped working entirely after two weeks of use. I bought another brand and it works great! I use these everyday teaching.

I've been using this laser presentation remote for a couple of months now and have been very happy with it. Very easy to get set up and running. The remote itself is comfortable to hold and use, and the range seems excellent. The USB receiver is tiny and stays neatly out of the way of anything else while plugged into my notebook. It stores away inside the back of the remote when not in use, so even a guy like me is uanble to lose it easily. Despite using it 2x/week for 4 hours or so each time, haven't had to change the batteries yet. As I said, the price seems a bit high but then again, there were no other in-store choices when I purchased.

Waste of $40. :( It wouldn't pair with my mac, and I needed something quick since I lecture. Bummer.

I was doing a presentation and it just didn't work. Returned it for my money back.

Easy to use, good range - can walk around room while doing presentation, laser dot small and gets lost in some slides. Comfortable to hold for extended presentations. Battery life seems good so far after about a month's use in formal presentations and test run throughs. Plug and play setup with no compatability problems with PowerPoint.

As a professional I give a lot of presentations, and have been through a lot of wireless remotes in the last several years. There are key functions that I look for: a smooth advance, a button to blank the screen, good range from remote to receiver, and a way to lock the keys so I don't accidentally advance the slide. This remote has all of those functions, works very well at long range, and also has excellent battery life. The remote is a tiny bit larger than others I've had, but it really isn't an issue for me. The only challenge I've come across is occasionally forgetting to remove the tiny usb receiver from the laptop.

I like this remote. The only setup is a tab located inside the battery case for Windows PPT, MAC Keynote or MAC PPT. Make your selection, plug in the USB and you are ready to go. It has a nice strong laser pointer. You can move forward and back in your presentation. Everything controlled using your thumb. Has nice distance between the remote and computer and you don't have to point at the computer to use. Fits in your hand nicely too; not too big or small. The on/off button is on the left side and middle of the remote. If the remote is used in your left hand it is easy to power off by accident. Just need to be careful. I paid about $45 which seems a little high. I cost justified because it more than met my needs.

This one interfaces with our laptops the first time ..... and every time. It is well designed, intuitive and robust. We now use this device for all of our 'on-the-road' presentations.

Our Hall is used frequently for presentations so this tool gets used often by the public. It runs on one battery with room for a spare second battery and storage for the dongle. Lighted for dark room navigation and for indicating when on or locked. Very responsive with great range even in noisy RF environments. It's a must have for power points. It is not a remote mouse or keyboard, if you need that you need a different tool.

I purchased this just before a large meeting with several presenters. It worked perfectly as they just passed it to the next person, and nobody had to run their slide show for them. There were no "next slide pleases" to be heard - thankfully! It was a fairly large room and there was no problem at all. The only downside, which is minor, is that the laser pointer is not very strong, so people kept thinking it was not working, but in fact it was working, but the dot was small and dim.

I'm a law student and I purchased this item for use in school related presentations. It is easy to install and works perfectly. No issues whatsoever. I was a little worried about the complaints regarding the battery cover. I've had no issues related to the cover although I did notice that opening the cover requires you to push the release button first. I am wondering if the people who had issues attempted to open the cover improperly. At any rate, it's a great product.

Excellent remote. It works off of two AAA batteries so no hassles with finding the small electronic batteries. It stores the small USB drive inside which I find very convenient. The laser pointer is very nice - not overly powerful, but good enough for me to walk around the classroom and still use it. Plugged it in and it worked - no issues and I have been using it heavily for two months.

I had to use it for a large presentation and it worked flawlessly. There was no lag when scrolling backward and forward between slides and the laser pointer came in handy. The range on the device worked for what I needed it for. Overall a great product for the price. One downside that I didn't take off for was that I had to go to multiple locations to find one.

I've Been using this presentation pointer for years and i had to buy a new one because my old one stopped working after 6ish years. simple, easy, plug and play and very elegant looking.

This laser remote is easy to use and works perfectly.

2 things I wish were better about this product: 1. the actual laser pointer - doesn't show up well if in alarge room with a large screen; 2. easier access/removal of the receiver end. You have to remove the battery cover. Other than that, it has great range and options. I use it all the time.

Very practical, right size, reliable and the black screen bottom will help a lot when doing effective presentations.

Does a great job when presenting. Battery life lasts a long time. Love all the features.

Small usb, which is great and can receive when it is still pretty far from the usb.
