I wanted a lighter backpack than my current SwissGear to carry a computer and an iPad around. I've had good experiences with Targus' designs in the past and when I've needed to contact them about their (limited) lifetime warranty they have been quite responsive. This backpack also has a reasonable amount of padding for shock protection and a good set of pockets for accessories. I can't imagine using the headphone connector (It might be more useful if it were a four contact phone earpiece plug rather than a three contact stereo audio plug) but perhaps that will be useful to some.

Fits an Acer Chromebook 14 perfectly in the respective laptop compartment, plenty of padding all around to protect it from tosses or drops. It also has pouches out the wazoo; I've got plenty of space for all my books, pencils, pens, calculator, laptop charger, flash drives, you name it. I don't see any possible way for me to use all of the space this backpack offers, but it is definitely nice to have regardless. No complaints at all here and would buy one again if I needed to.

Very pleased with this purchase. Perfect size and protection for my MacBook Air. Plenty of space for other accessories you need to carry with you. Several different compartments for organization. Not too heavy and it looks good. I would purchase this item again!

Bucked at the price at first. More than pleased with this Laptop Backpack. Great protection for me and my gear. Plenty of space in the main compartment. More than enough space for cables, batteries, mouse, hotspot, tablet, two 1 inch 3 ring binders, two composition notebooks, pens and more. Holds everything I need for office administration on the go!

I wanted to switch from a lap top bag to a back pack thats comfortable, sturdy & doesn’t look like a kids bag. I carry every day to the office. It has tons of space, storage & balances well. So glad I purchased this bag!

I use this backpack constantly and for many different things. It has a ton of pocket storage space in the back and sides. The main pocket is very roomy. It is comfortable to wear, with adjustable straps. The straps have a handy earbud insert that routes back to a pocket so you can plug in your phone and keep it safe. I use it to carry my laptop, I take it hiking and pack supplies, I even use it to carry a change of clothes to the gym.

Solid, lightweight backpack. Comfortable and protrctive.

Great backpack. Lots of pockets, not too heavy. Have had it for less than a month so can't speak for durability but it's very functional and feels sturdy.

This bag was purchased for a new laptop and i wasn't sure if it was going to fit. It did ! good quality and no hanging threads

After wanting to go with the North Face bags and actually trying them on in store i had to go with this very inexpensive bag! Has plenty of pockets for what i need, i have a Lenovo 710 and fits in perfect and not uncomfortable unlike some other expensive bags!
