the targus dual cooling fan chill mat is an excellant buy, my husband has a large laptop and this fit great. the dual fans help keep it cool while operating.

I find this computer cooling pad to be excellent. You can leave it in the down position or lift it up. When lifted up the cooling fans lift up too, so your computer is constantly being cooled

We bought this cooling pad for our sons laptop. He plays high graphic games such as Minecraft that tend to make the laptop hot after a while. The cooling pad works great to reduce the chances of him overheating the unit while playing his games. The locking adjustment for angled viewing works great if you are laying in bed. Overall a good buy, however could be a little cheaper.

I bought this product maybe three months back. I recently purchased a new laptop from Best Buy as well. My new laptop wasn't overheating or anything, but I figured it would be better to have a cooling agent under it versus nothing at all. Ever since I bought this product, I am always using it. Whenever I feel underneath my laptop it is always cool and never warm. I found this product to be very useful and beneficial, I even let my boyfriend know about it for his overheating laptop and he uses his constantly as well.

So for most people I know, this laptop cooling solution would be a perfect fit. I have a laptop that weighs at least eight pounds and this extension can easily support that despite the seemingly flimsy design. You see, the thing with this model is that it's designed to fan out so that your laptop bottom can be angled, though this is fairly user-friendly as all it requires is the turn of two plastic handles on the sides and it ramps to a 15-degree angle. Unfortunately, the design depends upon this alignment for the fan itself, and it won't work well without it. I understand the need to make these things mobile, but for the $40 asking price, it would've been nice to have something a little better than a two-foot cable (from fan to USB), and possibly even a way to power it externally. At the end of the day though, it's a decent solution that can make a world of difference for any laptop, and the single-fan design breathes in from the top through holes into a shallow cylinder leading to the fan, which means that it doesn't have to be centered at all to work properly. As if it weren't obvious enough though, if your laptop is much older (say, shipped running XP), I would strongly recommend against this design and go with a heavier solution.

I love my chill mat. It is quiet and puts my laptop at a slight slant, which makes it easier to type.I keeps it cool so not to overheat.

Very good item. Keeps laptop cool when battery is getting hot. Also put laptop up at an angle for better typing and viewing.

It is the best chill mat I have tried so far but it is hard to clean. You can open it up to clean it but you have to pull really hard and then it is hard to latch back up after you clean it. You do have to clean it frequently or it sounds like a jet taking off.

I have had a couple other types of cooling pads and the design of this one is great. It raises the computer up and has a edge to hold the computer from following off. The dual cooling pads help keep the computer cooler. We will just see how long it last. The other two I have had only lasted a couple of month.

So far I am incredibly happy with this product. I bought it a month or so ago and have used it every day since. The only gripe I have with it is that there is no way to turn it off unless you unplug it, which is kind of annoying. Other than that it's one of the best laptop cooling pads I have ever used!

Great for nearly every size laptop. Keeps your lap top nicely cooled with the dual fan design. The problem I have encountered so far is that If you have it plugged in and you change the angle or move it a bit the fan starts making a loud noise . I have to unplug it then plug it back in and the noise goes away.

This fan is easy to use, and is quiet but works really well. I like how you can also adjust the angle as well.
